Just letting everyone know…
I will NOT be doing any Easter dinners this year.

I would have to raise prices from previous years.
These were never big money makers and they are a TON of work.
This time would be even worse thanks to super high costs. Not to mention unreliable availability of goods.

Also, we will be closed at the silver moon from April 8th-April 20th for some very exciting things!!
We are making some major changes and improvements.
New flooring, repaving the parking lots, facelifts, small projects, new menus and options, beefed up staff (more on that later!) and an updated website coming soon!!

It’s been a crazy couple years and this will be my biggest update in years!

Looking forward to the coming season and years to come!!

It’s about that time again!
Easter dinner! Once again because of the reason we all know, (I’m so tired of saying the name), no open to the public Easter dinner.
This years take out menu is a little different than last year. Instead of doing a complete meal for a large family I have an ala carte menu so you can pick individual choices. Also, 2 sizes available for smaller or larger gatherings.
I need all orders in by Monday evening March 29th.
Orders can be picked up Friday afternoon or Saturday morning at the back of the silver moon banquet hall.
Everything will be packaged in pans ready to heat with instructions.

Invoices will be sent out mid week the week of Easter. You will be able to pay with a credit card or PayPal on the invoice. I can only take a check or cash on pick up. I can’t take a credit card on pick up.

Our last tent wedding of the year.

These last 3 months have been incredibly difficult and confusing.
But an incredible staff and hours upon hours of hard work got us through
Thank you to that amazing staff!!!

Also, thank you to the wedding couples that stuck with me!!
We had some absolutely beautiful weddings since the beginning of August!!
We got very lucky with the weather for every single one!
Most actually said they thought it may have been nicer than being in the banquet hall!!

Hopefully now we can move back inside and salvage some late fall and winter weddings and events.

My delivery day changed from Tuesday to Thursday. Normally I can get deliveries any day of the week so it wouldn’t matter. But with limited delivery schedules that has changed!***

Almost 6 long months after placing the order they finally arrived.
Brand new white chiavari chairs!

Cant wait to get back in business ASAP!

All the fantastic comments, emails and messages I received tell me that it was awesome for you too!

So, if I would decide to do a Mother’s Day takeout and delivery dinner would anyone be interested?

A different menu to change it up!
I also will do two different sized packages.
A smaller one for smaller families and a larger one for larger gatherings!

If I can get enough interest I’ll get a menu together soon!

Easter dinner pick ups and deliveries are underway!!

At this very difficult time it’s easy to understand that not everyone has Easter dinner in mind.

Easter is only 2 weeks away from today! We are prepared to help you make a day with family a little easier!

Place your order by April 6th for pick up at The Silver Moon Banquet Hall on Friday 4/10 or Saturday 4/11 or free delivery Saturday afternoon.

Choose your meat and everything will be all ready to go for you. Just pop in your oven and reheat to serve!

Meals are sold as is. No partial orders or special orders will be taken.
Dinner packages serve 10-12 people.
You may add extra meats and sides if you wish.

***Updated Easter take out***
I guess I didn’t take into consideration that there won’t be as many large family gatherings this year.
I dropped the cost and size of the Easter dinner.

Many of you have already seen my posts about a pre packaged Easter dinner.
I made the decision last year to not have our regular Easter buffet this year.
The decision has nothing to do with the world wide coronavirus scare that is affecting the entire population of the world.

Over the past year I was debating doing the pre packaged meal. Since my weekend plans were affected by the horrible coronavirus I made the decision to definitely do the pre packaged meals.

This has been a very accidental yet convenient coincidence for many.

With many uncertainties about restaurants, stores, gatherings etc this is a very safe way to provide dinner for your family!
(Which since my original post restaurants have been ordered to shut down)

Pick up will be available at one single back door of the Silver Moon Banquet Hall.
Pick up will be available Friday from 1:00-4:00 and Saturday from 10:00-4:00.
Deliveries will also be available Saturday from 1:00-4:00.

Price is $99.99 for the full dinner to serve 10-12!! That’s less that $9 per serving!
Sorry, to save confusion and keep everything streamlined no substitutions or partial orders!
You may add an extra entree, side, rolls, and cookies if you wish.

Everything will be packed in ready to heat pans!
All you have to do is warm it up. Instructions will be provided with your package.

I got quite a bit of buzz about the take out Easter dinner idea.
Tomorrow (Monday) I’ll get with my totally awesome sales and ad reps the lovely Cathi Brady and the stunning Kelli Tyler​​ for more details.
Here is what I have so far...

Choice of meat (slow roasted pot roast, baked ham, roast turkey)
Homemade mashed potatoes and gravy
Homemade stuffing
Homemade green bean casserole
Homemade baked sweet corn
1 package of holsum split top dinner rolls with butter
Homemade cookie tray

To save confusion and make this go smoothly and efficiently no substitutions or partial orders.
Pick up will be Friday and Saturday. The food will be all cooked and prepared in pans ready to heat.

Soooooo..... thanks to the stupid coronavirus my Easter plans have been seriously disrupted.

I still won’t be doing a public buffet.
That decision was made last year after Easter and all my employees have been told and have plans.
I just don’t have it in me to do that again.

BUUUUUT!!
If we would do a prepackaged, ready to go, just heat and serve Easter dinner. Who would be interested??

You could choose the meat (pot roast, turkey or ham), then it would come with homemade mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, baked corn, green bean casserole, holsum rolls and butter, and a tray of cookies.
NO substitutions or partial orders.

All packed in ready to heat pans to serve 15-20 guests.
Pick up Friday or Saturday. I still want to be with my family on Easter so no Sunday pick ups.
All you need is a fridge and an oven!
Everything will be cooked and just need heated.
