WEDDING OFFICIANT SERVICES

In 2024 I hit the milestone of 1,400 wedding ceremonies officiated since starting in 2016. Living in a rural area has made it a struggle but I feel like that is success to reach this many in eight years. Being an officiant is my passion and something that I enjoy immensely. Connecting with couples on their wedding day brings me such joy and I get to watch the couple share their words of love to each other.

In 2024 there were three crash course sessions conducted to help emerging officiants grow their business. Three were conducted at my house so that the participants were immersed in how I am successful and one in Chattanooga, Tennessee. If you are interested in attending one in 2025, please reach out.

WEDDING OFFICIANT COACHING
There were six coaching sessions conducted for wedding officiants that were looking to gain direction and determine the best way to grow their business.

If you know me you know I just love to ‘get out of town.’ So this was my adventures in 2024:
VACATIONS
• Puerto Vallarta, Mexico in Jan and Feb for a total of 15 nights of fun, sun and meeting new friends
• Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. What an inspirational trip. I have a newfound appreciation for the work that Noah and his family went through to build the ark. The Creation Museum was like walking through the bible and was such a blessing. Highly recommend a visit.
• Granville, TN is just the most adorable little down. I was in small town Mayberry where everyone is welcome and even greeted by name. Highly recommend a visit.
• My Chattanooga, Tennessee visit was partly business and partly pleasure. I so enjoyed getting to see Margaret Ellis, a trainee of mine and she is just blowing up this business. So happy for her.
• My Asheville/Hendersonville North Carolina was a tripped booked through Trusted Housesitters and was very enjoyable. I miss having dogs so I got to spoil someone elses. Also, I got to see family which really made the visit so memorable.
• After Asheville I headed to Pigeon Forge, TN and loved hitting the flea markets and doing some shopping.

Christmas Eve & Christmas Day Elopement Ceremonies
New Year’s Eve and New Years Day Elopement Ceremonies

Weddings by Valise and Notary Services will be offering elopement weddings ceremonies during the holidays at my festively decorated house or I can travel to your location. If travel is involved we will discuss fee during the initial consultation. Religious and non-religious ceremonies are available. Guests count is limited to eight people at my location. If you want to have more than eight guests the fee would increase but is limited to less than 15 people if at my location ($10 per person over eight guests). If it is at your location there is no limit on guest count.

Holiday Elopement Fee: $350

My fee includes:
• Consultation to discuss details and plan your special day
• Coordination services to make your special day go smoothly
• Festive decorated venue with a warm and welcoming atmosphere
• Officiating services for your elopement wedding
• Completion of marriage license
• Returning the marriage license to the Clerk of Court office
• Ample parking
• Changing room for bride and groom
• Restroom available
• Photography services using your cell phone to preserve memories of your wedding day
• If you want to hire a professional photographer or want additional time for pictures, fee increases by $50 and an additional 30 minutes is allowed for photography for a total time of an hour and a half.
• Props for pictures to add that special touch
• An hour allotted for use of changing room, ceremony and pictures

Non-refundable retainer of $200 is required to hold date and time. The retainer is applied to the balance due and the remaining amount is due the day of the ceremony upon arrival. Don’t forget the marriage license.

4. Gently follow up if they haven't left a review after a couple weeks

Religious and non-religious ceremonies are available. Guests count is limited to ten people. If you want to have more than 10 the fee would increase but is limited to less than 15 people if at my location. If it is at your location there is no limit on guest count.

New Year’s Eve Fee Schedule
Booked between 11/1/24 and 12/20/24 = $250
Booked after 12/20/24 = $300

New Year’s Day Fee Schedule
Booked before 12/20 = $220
