In the wake of the tragic events of October 25th, we are all made acutely aware of the importance of the Lewiston/Auburn community to the musical life of the college. We would like to express our solidarity with members of the Lewiston/Auburn community, the families affected by this tragedy, and to the first responders who worked so diligently during the crisis.
We want to convey our profound gratitude for Lewiston/Auburn’s support for the performing arts over many decades; without you, there would be no us. Music brings us together in the moment, and in the wake of events such as these, it can be a profound source of healing and provide a space to find togetherness. We’re proud to be part of this community, and look forward to hosting future events bringing us back together where we belong.
