We have such a long season here that my cosmos can set seed and die and regrow from those seeds in the same summer. Happens basically every year when I give up weeding in August. 😂

I have to take pictures of my flowers on the table during nap time then put them up higher once the toddler wakes up. 😂 Loving the combo of Autumn Beauty sunflowers with these French marigolds!

One last branching summer flower is still blooming, aptly named "Autumn Beauty." I need to plant more next year.

Cut the first of the ageratum (the fluffy blue stuff) this week. Ageratum was a favorite flower of mine as a kid and I was excited to discover varieties that get tall enough for cutting. Deer resistant, and long lasting in the vase, it was one of my best producers last year, giving me fresh blossoms all the way to frost.
