Dropped off a few chicken salads and fresh fruit to Operation: Secret Santa yesterday. The space they’ve created to make sure kids in Lexington and surrounding counties have gifts under the tree this year, and every year is moving. Please follow along with their page and consider donating time or money to their efforts. If you ever wanted to know what Santa’s workshop is like, this is it. If you missed your opportunity this year, don’t fret, they’ll be back next year doing the same amazing things.

Kids like meal plans too! Our daughter is tired of eating the same junk food all the time and asked me to make a meal plan for her school lunches so she makes better/healthier choices during the day.

*Pasta salad made with protein noodles- 20g of protein in each bowl.

*Local mixed greens salad with hard boiled eggs, avocado and some house made croutons

*Fruit bowl with fresh strawberries, apples, orange slices and pineapple

*Not pictured is a cup of vanilla Greek yogurt for each day as well

(Haven’t added the dressing for the salad yet).
