All music performing groups are welcome at Acclaim! We have ensembles from elementary schools, middle schools, and high schools attending this Spring. We have groups from public and private schools!

Groups may perform 2 or 3 pieces of music. Beginners are even welcome to perform unison selections from their method book. We want to celebrate music education at all levels.

Allow me to introduce myself! My name is Shawna and Acclaim was created out of a desire to celebrate music education in our area.

Central KY has a vibrant community of music teachers who have a heart to impact the next generation. We believe that music education is more than just a way to have cool concerts. We know that we are encouraging our students to work hard and persevere even when learning their instrument is hard. We are working to build a generation of resilient students who push through their insecurities and not give up. Music may be our means but it is not the focus.
