Join us tonight at 6:00 pm for the open panel discussion in conversation and celebration of . The panel event will be held at Arts 202, located at 202 N. Main Street, Lexington NC

There are a number of neighborhoods that will be discussed by the panel including:

Washington Park
Lincoln Park
Southside Village
Raleigh Road
Evans Farm
Parkertown
Smith Avenue.

There will also be other neighborhoods discussed and several topics including cemeteries, churches and prominent community figures that helped to shape the local African-American Juneteenth Freedom Celebration Lexington, NC Community.

It's today! We can hardly wait to see you at the Lexington Book Festival!

All Lexington Book Festival events are free and open to the public. Seating is limited. The author panels will be at the Arts Davidson building at 202 N. Main Street in Lexington with plenty of free parking nearby.

The Lexington Book Festival is supported in part by North Carolina Humanities, the state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.

*The Annual Dr. Martin Lutter King, Jr. Parade hosted by the Davidson County Chapter - Lexington Branch of NAACP will begin at 1:00 pm on Main Street in Lexington on the same day.
*Entries are still being accepted by contacting Mr. Hargrave at 336.240.9391 or any local NAACP members.

There is a $30 entry fee requested for registration.
