These two students received their official invitation to The International Thespians Festival taking place this summer. Back in November, both of these students earned Superior ratings in their individual events at the Kentucky Thespian Festival in monologues (picture 1) & lighting design (picture 2). Huge congrats to these ladies! 🎭

Theatre students travel to Owensboro, Ky this weekend for The Kentucky Thespians Festival! We will open the festival with our performance of, “Fervan Cerato Does Not Exist”, take workshops, and compete in individual events and scholarship auditions. Our theatre dept. is selling Texas Roadhouse dinner roll & butter vouchers just in time for pick up for Thanksgiving. If you’d like to purchase a voucher for 1 dozen rolls ($6) or honey cinnamon butter ($2). Location is the Richmond rd restaurant & pick up is November 20-21 from 10am-7pm. Please contact one of our students to purchase! Students turn in money to me on Wednesday 10/31 so not a lot of time left to order!

Auditions went well today for Rumpelstiltskin! We had around 38 audition! Can’t wait for call backs on Thursday!

Our students did such an amazing job defending station today! They had the best performance of this production I’ve ever seen! Although we didn’t get passed on to state, Siobhan Johnson was named KTA All Star actor and we were recognized for “Visual Impact”. I am so proud of these wonderful, hardworking, dedicated students! We have two more shows! Tomorrow at 3pm & 4:15pm.
