Today, Dawn’s Bridals, Inc, is 54 years old!! My grandmother, Rachael Myers Koonts, began Dawn’s Bridals after she and her niece closed the ready-to-wear shop in December 1969. The shop is named after my mom, Dawn who retired from teaching in 1986 and began working here when I was in college. I began working part-time for my grandmother at 14 and began full-time in September 1989 after graduating from college. I was very honored and fortunate to work alongside both my grandmother and my mother for 25 plus years! Cheers to all of our brides, mothers, grandmothers, bridesmaids, cotillion and prom goers who have made the past 54 years so wonderful! Looking forward to continuing to have “THE” dress for all the special times in your lives!!
