Many people ask me why shoot film when digital is so much easier and cost efficient? The simple answer is digital still can’t replicate the film look! I’m pretty good at matching my digital images to my film images, but even the best in the industry can tell when it’s film. The colors and light really are stunning and when capturing moments you want to cherish forever with a timeless look, film is the way to go!

We’ve had such amazing couples this year! I know I don’t post often, or always use hashtags, but at this point in our business we are embracing and focusing our time in multiple creative projects for work and pleasure. Our amazing clients often find us more through referrals than social media, so while likes and follows are great, we love that we have a strong presence offline as well! I can’t wait to share more through the holidays when we settle in for holiday breaks. 💋Love you all and your support so much!

Casey and I have been together 8 years next month! It’s crazy to think about! I’m truly blessed to have such an amazing partner to share by life with but also this business with! He’s not only an amazing photographer in his own right, but he’s also an amazing videographer. We really cherish getting to know our clients and couples and sharing in milestone moments with incredible people. Your stories become bright spots in our own journey, creating the art we love! I’m excited for more travel adventures and snuggly nights watching tv with the fur babies Casey. And I’m so proud of all we’ve accomplished together! 💕😘🎉

I continued more education this year by doing a private mentoring session, to really invest in myself and business more. Investing in yourself means better things for those around you as well as yourself!

Loving these hot summer evenings, with cold ice cream and so much joy! Watching families grow, experiencing the stress with them as much as the love and fun. These are the moments worth capturing. I love clicking that shutter button on my camera, because each time, I’m not reaching for perfection, I’m reaching for love and every moment that tells that story, especially the imperfection. The imperfection is what makes us all real, lovable and full of life!

It’s a great way to start the wedding day for an artist. To get those creative juices flowing...it also give me a kind of vision board for how the days aesthetic will be.

I’ve gotten the opportunity to do some styled shoots lately (more to come) and continue to network and education myself. Working with various creatives and photographing amazing flat lays and details has me inspired to try my hand at creating a custom flat lay styling mat for myself. Wish me luck, and I can’t wait to share the results!
