A bittersweet post we’ve been putting off sharing because it makes it all the more real but nonetheless, here we go. 🥹

Last weekend marked the end of era with our sweet Mads. Madeline came to us in January 2020 as a baby 18 year old college student. We immediately fell in love with her infectious and calming personality and her perfect comedic timing for cracking jokes. She worked tirelessly to hone her skills as a stylist and truly embodied “she twirled through life with a heart full of joy” to our brides.

We’ve had the joy of watching her love story unfold through her engagement and marriage to her high school boyfriend over the past 4.5 years and it has been one of the sweetest blessings to witness.

Madeline, thank you for pouring your heart and soul into loving and celebrating our Twirl Family and our brides so beautifully. You always have a home here at Twirl and we cannot wait to watch you grow in this new chapter.

We’ll forever be looking for excuses to post Madeline's wedding photos, sorry not sorry. ✨ Today’s excuse? Well, she shared this sweet tribute + back story to her finding her wedding dress and how we created it to be perfectly “Mads” and we couldn’t help but reshare it because it’s just too good. 😍 We’ll never forget the day she put Marley on (swipe to see the day) faster than we even knew was humanly possible + was teary on FaceTime with her mom. It was endgame from that point on, rightfully so. 💕

As soon as we unboxed “Marley” by Beccar back in 2021, I knew I loved her more than a girl who wasn’t even engaged should (swipe to see me try her on straight out of the box to FaceTime my mom lol). Thank you Beccar for creating the most perfectly puffy sleeved organza dream and allowing us to add our own Twirl Lexington pink twist 🎀

For yearsssss, I would put the Jenny Yoo Collection “Gabriel” veil on any bride that would let me 😂 & my favoritest dogwood floral appliqués that the unbelievably talented Darling Sew Shop so perfectly scattered on my sleeves. 🌸

Twirl is home to so many perfect dresses but I’ll always have a favorite. 🥹

FAQs:
Q: If I’m not plus-size, can I still book an appointment on 5/19 and 5/20?
A: This weekend is dedicated specifically to celebrating our plus-sized brides, so if you are not a size 14+ in everyday clothing, we’ll look into other dates to get you scheduled for your own special day!

Q: I’m a size 14/16 in everyday clothes, but I’m not considered plus-sized. Can I still book an appointment?
A: YES! Bridal sizing is based on non-American sizing, so their “plus-size range” is not the same as ours. The gowns that we’ll be highlighting this weekend will range from bridal sizes 18-34, which roughly translates to everyday sizes 14-30.
