We just wanted to give a shout out to The Vintage Barn at Merefield Farm. We have the privilege of catering there often. First, the decor is beautiful and they set up the areas however you want. They staff events with more people than any venue we cater. A staff person is right there any minute to answer questions, give a hand or jump in to help with anything. Missy bends over backwards to make sure the wedding and reception meet the dreams of each couple. If you're getting married, this is THE place to book your wedding!

* Bourbon meatball shooters
* Crudités including roasted Brussels sprouts, roasted asparagus, tri-color bell peppers, carrots, celery and cherry tomato with 3 dips

Dinner;
*Honey-garlic roasted Pork Loin
* Herb-coated baked chicken
*4 cheese Mac and Cheese
*Mixed greens salad with cranberries and feta cheese with champagne dressing
*Homemade yeast rolls (3 varieties) and artisan breads

It's going to be a hot one at the farm!

4th wedding here at Hemlock Springs in a month. Today's menu:

• Grilled teriyaki chicken skewers with toasted sesame seeds
• Smoked burger babies with cheese and pickles
• Artisan cheeses (cheddar, pepper jack, smoked Gouda, brie and Bleu) with crudités including roasted asparagus with garlic & balsamic and grilled Brussels sprouts with apple balsamic drizzle
• Medium-rare London broil with horseradish cream and basil-seasalt crostini.

2 Fun Food Bars:
•Creole Shrimp & Cheddar garlic grits with assorted toppings
• The ever-popular 4 cheese Mac and cheese bar with fun toppings like bacon, roasted peppers, scallions,, pepperoni and salsa.

Hope they come hungry!

Sunday's engagement party. (Which included a rousing game of musical chairs among the engaged couple and all their guests)

They wanted some nibbles to go with their bar:

• Buttermilk Biscuits with Country Ham
• Sliders with Garlic-Brown Sugar glazed pork tenderloin
• Fresh crudités with Hummus
• 4 kinds of cheese with assorted crackers, strawberries and grapes
• Cheddar Corn Jalapeno Dip with Tortilla Chips

Sunday's wedding at Zorro Events:
We started the evening with 2 appetizers:

•Spinach-Artichoke Dip with tortilla chips
• Antipasto Skewers with balsamic reduction drizzle passed among the guests.

Our plated dinner included both a chicken and a vegetarian option for certain guests:
• Chicken Picatta with plenty of lemon flavor and capers
• Giant Portobello Mushrooms stuffed with Caprese filling
• Creamy Mashed Potatoes
• Sauteéd Haricot Verts with Shallots
• Field Green/Romain Mix with Feta Cheese, Cranberries and Champagne Vinaigrette
• Bread baskets with yeast rolls and 3 kinds of Artisan breads

Many great kudos from the guests. One guest said it was the best catered food she has ever eaten. We love it when they go home happy!

Saturday's wedding at the Vintage Barn at Merefield Farm in Versailles

•First choice of the evening was an extensive charcuterie board (5 feet) featuring 5 kinds of meat, 4 kinds of cheese, sundried tomato and goat cheese torte, assorted crackers, mini whole wheat crostini made with basil olive oil, parsley and Himalayan pink sea salt. Fig jam and tomato jam to dress. Also included, warm marinated olives and various fruit.

• Quesadilla Bar: Guests could pick smoked chicken, chorizo, sharp cheddar or pepper jack cheese for made to order quesadillas. Dressed with sour cream, salsa or jalapeños. We served over 360 quesadilla quarters.

• Barbecue Bar: we featured our pulled pork with a 15 hour smoke on sliders accompanied by cilantro honey-lime Cole slaw. We also serve parfaits made with Bourbon Brisket Brown Sugar Baked Beans, the pork, the slaw and a baby pickle.

We got rave reviews all around!
