Spring hat-making class photos! We did fascinators, soft caps and straw hats, just in time for Derby. In the class, students will design, pattern, choose the fabric and make from scratch two to three hats per semester, which they get to keep.

We build all the costumes for the University of Kentucky Theatre and Dance Department and the School of Music Opera Theatre. Undergrad students make up nearly all of our shop crews, and exceptionally gifted Undergrads will be given the opportunity to design a mainstage show in their Junior or Senior year.
