It’s H+P’s Wedding Day! Yay! 🎉 I have loved getting to know and plan with these soon-to-be newlyweds since we first met and started working together in January 2021! Between the pretty and thoughtful details and the incredible experience they’ve created for their guests today, I just know it will be an absolutely beautiful, perfect, and FUN wedding day for them at Big Spring Farm today! I can’t wait to send my gal, H, down the aisle and kick off their happily ever after today with an epic celebration and an awesome vendor team! Plus, it’s always so special for me to be back at the farm and witness another sweet couple say “I do” just like my husband and I did in the same spot nearly 6 years ago! 🥰 See y’all so soon!! 💕

It’s K+Z’s Wedding Day! YAY! I couldn’t be more excited to officially kick off BSE’s 2022 wedding season by celebrating with this sweet couple today! I have been looking forward to this wedding ever since we first started working together in October 2020, and I can’t wait to see all of their fun and gorgeous details come together today! … and that’s a wrap on the 2021 wedding season! ✨ I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the best and busiest year that BSE has had yet, and I couldn’t be more thankful for all of the sweet couples that trusted me to be a small part of their wedding days this year. 💕 There will be a more detailed “thank you” post to come, but if you’re one of my 2021 clients, I hope you know how much I love you, appreciate you, and thank you for giving BSE the opportunity to happily serve you this year. 💕

With that being said, I am very much looking forward to the off season and some time off to relax and recharge as we approach the holidays. 🥰

And of course, planning doesn’t stop for my 2022 couples and next year is already shaping up to be another year for the books! But — if you’re getting married in 2022 and still looking for a planner, NOW is the time to reach out about your big day! I couldn’t be more excited to celebrate with this sweet couple today! I quickly realized how in sync S and I were with her beautiful checklists and color-coded spreadsheets. What more could my wedding planning heart ask for?! And on top of that, there were many times when we emailed each other within *minutes* about the exact same topic! So crazy, but SO funny every time it happened! Needless to say that working with S was a dream. 💕 Aside from her awesome organizational skills though, I loved getting to know these two during our time working together, and I can’t wait to see all of their hard work beautifully come together today! I am absolutely thrilled to (finally) head back to the beautiful The Granary to celebrate these soon-to-be newlyweds with their nearest and dearest and a great vendor team! It didn’t take long for me to realize how in love these two are, and what an honor has it been to witness their special relationship! 🥰 E&P are another example of fast friends that I feel like I’ve known forever, and our planning together has been full of so much fun, laughter, and joy! Happy Wedding Day, C&J! 💕🥂

I have loved every second of working with C since we first met in 2019! We immediately hit it off, but when she said she was also a Hokie (LET’S GO 🧡) that just sealed the deal! Although we attended Tech at the same time and unfortunately didn’t cross paths then, I’m so thankful their engagement and wedding gave us the opportunity for our friendship. 💖 It has also been such a joy and pleasure getting to know her sweet parents, and I cannot thank them enough for being so warm and welcoming to me over the last couple of years, too. 💕

After C&J made the difficult decision to postpone their 2020 wedding, I couldn’t be happier for them that big day The Seclusion is here! I can’t wait to celebrate with these two this evening and send C down the aisle to J! Let’s get y’all married!! 💕

Happy Wedding Day, L&D! 🥂 I’m thrilled to be heading back to the beautiful Castle Hill Cider today to celebrate Round 2 for this precious couple! 💖 L&D made the difficult decision to postpone their larger celebration last year, so I’m absolutely thrilled that the day they’ve been planning for two years is finally here!

When I think about their beautiful October micro wedding last year, a few things come to mind: a double rainbow during cocktail hour, a breathtaking pink and orange sunset during their portraits for golden hour, but most importantly, the overwhelming amount of love and joy that surrounded them as they celebrated such a special day with their immediate families. I have no doubt that today will be just as magical. ✨ I adore these two more than I can possibly say, and I couldn’t be more honored to celebrate not one but two wedding days with them. 💖 I can’t wait to get the party (they’ve been waiting for) started for with a wonderful team of vendors today! Yay! Happy Wedding Day, E&A! 💕🥂🥰

I couldn’t be more excited to celebrate this precious couple today! This wedding is yet another day that I’ve been looking to for so long. Since we started working together in May 2020, E and I we were immediate soul sisters — we were always on the same page, I’m obsessed with her attention to detail and organizational skills (surprise, surprise!), and on top of that, we just clicked and became fast friends. Working with her made my job so easy, and I cherish the friendship we’ve created over the last year and a half! 💕

But what’s also special about this wedding day is reconnecting with an old friend! A and I actually went to high school together in Lexington (and probably hadn’t seen each other since our graduation!). It was such an awesome surprise when I found out that E was his fiancé during our initial call together!

Today is another example of a bittersweet wedding, but luckily they just live down the road from me so I can (hopefully) beg them to still hang with me! 😂 I can’t WAIT to send E down the aisle and see all of these beautiful details come together today with an awesome vendor team! This is a wedding day that I’ve been looking to for so long! From the first time I met O with her sweet Mom and future mother-in-law over coffee at Pronto Gelateria for our initial consultation last September, it has been an absolute joy and dream to work with this gal ever since. ✨ We became fast friends and I immediately felt so comfortable with her and her Mom to the point where it feels like we’ve all known each so other much longer than just a year. There are some people who just light up a room with their energy and smile, and O is no exception. 🥰 I’m SO happy that their big day is finally here and I cannot wait to see all of her thoughtful and diligent planning come together perfectly with the help of a fabulous vendor team.
