Hey friends,

Triple G/Uncle Paul's is closing. First off we appreciate everyone for the love and support of our little business but the time has come to call a spade a spade. We simply don’t have the resources to continue keeping it open at its current location and it’s current setup. We have a couple birthday parties to honor and will start moving things out after that. We will still be open to come hang out and play some games, eat some snacks etc. we will be having discounted concessions and all of our games are going to be for sale so if you’re in the market for some cool man cave stuff let us know!

As for now we might try to keep just the video gaming part open IF we can find a spot with significantly lower overhead.

If there are any gift certificates that I’m not thinking of or anything like that please come in ASAP as we won’t be able to do much once we are closed for good. Our lease is up 2/28 so we need to be 100% out by then so probably close down operations around the 18th-20th. Feel free to come in anytime and make offers on items.

If you’re looking for a spot for your business we can get you in touch with landlord and walk you through the updates and things we have done with the place.

From now until we are closed admission is whatever you can afford to pay, we didn’t build this for the money. We really wanted a community spot where kids could laugh and play in a safe environment so may as well offer it up while we can.

Drop your kiddos off at Uncle Paul's Family Fun for an hour or more for some safe, supervised fun! Drop-in daycare is just $5/hour per child. We will provide a snack every 3 hours they are in care.

Please come by and check it out, and feel free to ask all your questions about who will be watching your kids! We're here to serve our community and to provide a clean, safe, fun family environment.

One of our customers at Uncle Paul's accidentally took another child's pink sandals 3 days ago. They were on the floor under the bench next to her brother's shoes.

Friday NERF WAR. Bring your normal nerf bullet guns or use ours, we have bullets and a couple pairs of glasses, please if you are concerned bring your own eye protection. We will have more if our amazon delivery comes in like it is supposed to today.

Starts at 6:30pm!! I'm going to lower normal $6 admission to $5 per kid for this event. Please share this! I plan to make it a weekly event.

Long post but some important updates and questions about Uncle Paul's; please give feedback!

We want to start doing drop in daycare soon if there is demand for it. I need some honest feedback on this. What is a good start time in the mornings? $5/hr per kid with a 10% discount if there are multiple in the same family. I can offer a small snack at the 3 and 6 hour mark of the day but more significant meals are available for a fee. At this time we are only looking for potty trained and older kiddos. This is not a long term scheduled traditional daycare so there is no state funding available. We have soft play things for the younger ones, bounce houses, some traditional arcade games, an art room and even some area that we could do naps in if needed.

Biggest question, what hours would you personally want to see? Is this something you could utilize or see utilized enough to warrant the extra employees needed?

I’m also excited to announce that as long as our nerf supplies are delivered on time we will have a nerf war this week! Feedback on which night is best for your family will be considered.

We are also still interested in doing a sleepover/lock in event for 12+ as well as a sleepover for 6+ yr olds. I’m looking for a couple of parents that would be interested in helping out with that as well as at least six children to pre-register for either age class. On the sleepover night I would ask that a few of the kids could bring some fun video game systems in to share, board games, and a clean music playlist to share our favorite songs with each other.

As always we want to hear ideas that you or your family have to make this place as much fun and as utilized as possible, our mission is not to get rich off this but to provide a safe place for our youth to play and learn how to interact IN PERSON with each other.

Another thing I would like feedback on is video arcade games, like a sit down racing style game and a Hunter/shooter type of game, what are your thoughts on something like that? We have stayed away from video games, but those style games can be interactive with multi player. I appreciate any feedback.

Recently I finished our 3 bay sink and will be bringing in commercial refrigeration so we will have approval to do some basic cooked foods, what would you like to see? Nachos? Dogs? Pizza? Subs? We are also planning on having some basic coffee/tea available soon.

Yet another question is, are there any local candy, fudge, or similar item makers that would want to work with us?

Also, we plan to host a old school “card show” aka flee market for sports cards if there is any interest from vendors, so if you know anyone that is in to collectible things such as cards sports or gaming or anything else that fits that type of show please share this with them, I’d love to bring back those fond childhood memories of mine at buying/selling/finding cards.

Final note, I’m still interested in hearing from anyone that would consider investing some capital in to bringing in some more assets to make this place even better, not looking for money to just pay bills, I’d be buying hard assets that could be sold later if needed. PM me specifically if you’re interested, looking to raise roughly $10k to kick off that phase of the business.
