Summer weddings at Shooting Star Ranch are for you if you love being surrounded by beautiful colors, vibrant lighting and dancing the night away under the starry string lights on a warm Summer night with a cool drink in your hand!

When your guests arrive, you can cool them down with refreshing fruit drinks as they grab a paper fan or paper parasol and prepare for the gorgeous outdoor ceremony under the big oak trees! If you love pops of color, be sure to deck out the arch with vibrant & full floral pieces + line the aisle! You can have guests toss colorful fresh flower petals as you walk back down the aisle together (it makes for really lovely photos)!

Have dinner inside the barn with your guests in the refreshing air conditioned buildings which also has large fans overhead. Then you can either head to the outdoor dance floor for all your special dances or stay inside the temperature controlled barn to enjoy the rest of your wedding together with your friends & family!

About Us

Welcome to Shooting Star Ranch, located 5 miles west of Liberty Hill in the heart of Texas Hill Country. Our venue offers an authentic, 100 year old stone and wood two story barn surrounded by 100+ year old live oak trees.

In 2004, our family bought the ranch and lovingly started historical restoration and repair of the large dairy barn. Throughout the years, we have hosted many barn parties and dances on the property with neighbors and friends. Following our daughter's wedding reception in the fall of 2016, we have had many requests and bookings. After a few months of renovation, we are now a open to the public for weddings and events! Please contact us for more information on events or tours.
