Every wondered how we came up with the name “Hayfield”? Well now you know!
We’ve been extra busy these past few weeks, cutting, tedding, raking, and finally baling hay! We may be biased, but we think it’s the most beautiful time of the year on the farm. All of our couples are welcome to come out for engagement photos, any time of the year 🌸
The Hayfield Story
Story time! A little background into how Hayfield Events began.
Our Hayfield family member, Lindley, first met Doug on her Grandmother’s farm back in 2014. The Murchison Farm has always been her favorite place - as many of her childhood memories live here. When Lindley and Doug got engaged in 2019, she knew immediately where her wedding would be - her Grandmother’s farm. When she presented this to the family, they first began to design a hay barn that would be used for storing hay after the wedding. This hay barn slowly progressed into our breathtaking timber frame event barn - filled with rustic charm, modern amenities, and industrial accents. It’s safe to say - we will never be using this barn for hay storage. On March 27, 2021 - we finally got to celebrate the marriage of Lindley and Doug and it was everything we imagined.
At Hayfield, we are one big family and we can’t wait to welcome each new bride onto our property and into our family!
