Wow what a week! You can’t tell from this video but that’s my garden under that tree 😩 but all things considered we feel extremely blessed that we only had damage to our fence in a few spots and our deck. We finally have power back but still no internet and cell service is spotchy at best. My heart is heavy with sorrow for everyone else who didn’t fair as well. I’ll be sharing some ways to support the hurricane relief effort’s in my stories throughout the week when I can. For my local friends, please check in below in the comments so i know you’re safe and please list if you have any immediate needs that we can help with. #hurricanehelene
I’m not your average wedding florist ✨ give me all the wearable florals 🙌🏼 let me create a one of kind look for one of the biggest days of your life! As promised: A genius repurpose of ceremony flowers. From the moment @cecilia_e_copeland & @acope96 told me of their idea to have a build your own bouquet bar for their guests I was obsessed. I’m all about repurposing flowers and to me this was next level! #bouquet #weddingflowers #repurposed
My first time color blocking in a bouquet and I think I’m obsessed! I can’t wait to see this beauty on the big screen next year! #hallmarkmovies #florist #bouquet
Get you a photographer who understands the assignment 👏🏼👏🏼 no disrespect intended, I know every photographer has their own editing style, but as a florist I can’t tell you how sad it makes me when I see the beautiful color pallet I’ve spent months curating with the bride has been muted or brightened when the final edits arrive. I know, I know; edits are a must, I promise I’m not hating. It just makes me appreciate when I see beautifully edited images like the ones here taken by the talented @thepictureoflove of the ever so beautiful Mrs. Mowery @anna_.banana._ (pro tip for my future brides: I highly suggest speaking with your photographer about your floral color pallet and how that will look with their editing style)
Let’s talk about repurposing flowers! As we all know wedding florals are a big expense and working within a budget can be stressful. This is why I work hard to ensure we stretch your budget as best as possible. One way to do this is by repurposing your ceremony florals for the reception, as seen here.
Sooooooo last week was WILD! #wildthistleflorals #romcom #movie #weddingflowers
Still thinking about these beautiful spring pastels for Kathryn and Connor!
