This bouquet was extra special to me. It’s the first one I’ve made using flowers grown on my homestead and if you’ve been following me for a while you probably recognize this beautiful face of my dear friend Alexis who I’ve done countless styled shoots with.
Well the time had come to finally make HER bouquet. I’ve made soooo many bouquets for Alexis that I felt this pressure (self inflicted 🫣) to make hers the most special. In addition to flowers grown from my home, I added fresh homegrown rosemary and mint. Both members of the Lamiaceae family and in my opinion complimentary scents. Rosemary known to boost your mood and mint to aid in calming and a clear mind. ( If you saw my previous post even the groom noticed the aroma and couldn’t help but take a sniff) I sourced other local flowers and added a few imports like the beautiful orchids! She’s told me a bunch of times how much I impressed her so I’m choosing to believe her 🥰 low key impressed myself too. Of course I can’t go without mentioning how absolutely stunning this dress is, and the hair and makeup 🤌, all beautifully captured by a very talented photographer!
