The last few weeks have been such a whirlwind for so many reasons. But one of the most exciting has been launching another new venture related to ALL things party.

If you’ve followed me from the beginning, you know my love for the texture and movement of fringe-y tassels. From start to finish, the process of selecting colors, material, cutting, sewing and seeing the end result brings me so much joy and satisfaction.

So…I’m bringing to you, party wearables and bringables! My incredibly talented and gorgeous friend presented you with a sneak peek in her story for a very special photo shoot. One of my favorites from recents. Color blocking balloons makes such a statement especially with fun, bold colors like these. And tassels invite everyone to the dance floor. We were nervous about working with these curtains but they ended up being a perfect spot for our backdrop. Great event at a great venue. 🩵

This birthday celebration installation was incredibly challenging and worth every second of my fear in climbing a 20’ ladder.

The center of this tent was adorned with handmade tassels and colorful paper honeycombs in assorted shapes and sizes.

Balloons are our jam but none were used in this installation. Using mixed elements to create an eye-catching, fun and festive display is what we do best!

Still swooning over her. But also, some of the DMs I received asked if it was easy, hard, time consuming to create. I was also asked if they could purchase and hang their own foil curtains and just rent my disco heart ( side note, I wouldn’t be surprised if my actual heart was made out of disco balls). To answer a few of these questions, yes my disco heart is available to rent or purchase on its own! Always!

As for the backdrop, it took about 20 packs of foil curtains. Yes that’s a lot but what is worse is having a sparse, sad backdrop. Note, the photos you see in the ad for those party curtains require many more than just 1 pack. Plus I added some fringe-y embellishments I made.

As for the disco ball heart, I’m not sure how many hours it took as I did it here and there when I had time, but I’d guess about 10-12 hours. And how many disco balls would you guess are on here? 322! Is that more or less than you’d guess?

One of my sweet clients had to cancel her event due to unfortunate circumstances. Nevertheless, I’m happy I was able to make this heart of gold for her event. I couldn’t leave her sitting in my studio so now this heart is floating in my living room for the weekend. And after that, she is available for your events.💛DM to inquire.

Bid Day in the midwest is a little different than at SEC schools but that doesn’t mean it’s not fun! Lots of celebrating to be had at the Pi Phi house. I’m pretty sure my daughter wouldn’t allow me back on campus if I stuck around to be a part of the festivities.🤣 Nevertheless, I was thrilled that she asked me to do this installation for @wiscopiphi on Bid Day.

How we do a BAR. Dressed her up, made her look like she was going to a party, in the fringy-est skirt she could find. Lush, mostly pink, with a tinge of sparkle was the assignment. Absolutely obsessed with these tassels I created for a neon 18th birthday so much that I may try to make a skirt for myself. Whatcha think?

Law school graduation

We can almost smell Spring right around the corner…and this law school graduation was the perfect event to kick off Spring’s graduation season. We loved using softer colors, just a hint of shine, and the little bit of teal’s appearance reminds us of Easter. Our breezy , flowy hand cut tassels were the highlight for me.🪺🌸

RAINBOW SEASON is full speed ahead. We incorporated all of the boho elements for this bridal shower rainbow, from the muted tones to florals to the very necessary part of all events now, disco balls. Are you in love with this one as much as I am?!🤍

Dino Ranch balloons for our adorable Addison who has the coolest Gigi. We love our boy parties but combining rainbows and dinosaurs takes the cake (lol) for a 3-year-old’s.
