A fun event for a very worthy cause -
The mission of LCCA is to provide a safe environment for child victims of sexual and physical abuse. The goal of the center is to investigate and help successfully prosecute these offenders without further trauma to the child.

This weekend we had so much fun feeding 850+ guests at the National Gun Club event held at Northbrook Sports Club.
On our menu we served; roasted garlic herb red skin potatoes, a sautéed chicken breast with rosemary, artichoke hearts and sun-dried tomato cream sauce, steakhouse creamed spinach, and finally a grilled marked and oven roasted whole tenderloin carved at the station served with a pinot noir demi glaze.

It is with extreme sadness that we share that we lost our friend- our brother and best Executive Master Chef Dave (Dugo)Delgatto. He fought long and he fought hard and there are no words to adequately say how much we love him. We are who we are because of his talent, passion, creativity and love of life. We survived Covid with his massive contribution in creating Eddie Bs Supper Club - all the Cooking classes he so masterfully orchestrated-the many years of successful events prior to that and the lifetime of personal memories-How do you capture and do honor to the man who was larger than life. Until we meet again- we love you and will forever miss you.

GONE FROM MY SIGHT

I am standing upon the seashore. A ship, at my side, spreads her white sails to the moving breeze and starts for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength.

I stand and watch her until, at length, she hangs like a speck of white cloud just where the sea and sky come to mingle with each other.

Then, someone at my side says, "There, she is gone."

Gone where?

Gone from my sight. That is all. She is just as large in mast, hull and spar as she was when she left my side. And, she is just as able to bear her load of living freight to her destined port.

Her diminished size is in me -- not in her.

And, just at the moment when someone says, There, she is gone," there are other eyes watching her coming, and other voices ready to take up the glad shout, "Here she comes!"

And that is dying!

Saying Goodbye to Lehmann...
It was the last time driving out. And it was emotional. 18 years of memories. We couldn’t have done it without our catering team who often did the impossible – Thank you! We couldn’t have done it without the support of our clients, family and friends – Thank you! We will continue catering off-premise events from our Libertyville office and events at Cuneo Mansion in Vernon Hills. (We are also working on a new adventure and we will keep you posted!) God’s blessings to you all!

After 18 years providing facilities management and catering services at Lehmann Mansion we are parting ways effective May 1, 2022. We will take on any new events at the Mansion until that time and will keep running Eddie B’s Supper Club for as long as the public supports it.

We have so many fantastic memories of our years at Lehmann Mansion! We’d like to thank all of the wonderful wedding clients for letting us share your special day. Many of you have celebrated your anniversaries with us at the Supper Club – so cool! We have met tons of people from the concerts, cooking classes, special events, car shows and the Supper Club. We appreciate each and every one of you for your support. We’d also like to thank our team at Bauer’s Catering – we couldn’t have done it without you.

Bauer’s Catering will continue to cater for off-premise events, including Cuneo Mansion and many other venues in Lake County. We are working on a new venture that we hope to announce soon!
