GENERAL
The Performing Arts Center (PAC) at Kauai Community College is the entertainment centerpiece of the Garden Island. The PAC celebrates the culture of Kauai and the world with over 100 events and performances a year. The venue is a very comfortable state of the art facility with world class lighting and sound.
All prospective clients can inquire about renting the venue via a phone call to 808-245-8352 or an email to the manager of the hall. All questions regarding usage are answered promptly. Sometimes a tour of the facility is in order for further illustration. Each for-profit organization must be officially registered with an up to date Federal Tax ID and possess a liability insurance policy. The insurance policy must specifically verify the existence of the necessary comprehensive liability coverages, including the coverage of the University of Hawaii and the State of Hawaii, and their officers, employees and agents.
If an actual rental is to occur after the initial inquiry, a for-profit ‘Request & Agreement’ facility use form must be filled out. All information regarding the organization, the needs of the event and the responsible individuals and their method of payment are then examined by the Performing Arts Center manager. If all pertinent elements are cleared and deemed viable, both parties will sign of on the form and each will retain a copy.
Most events require more technical assistance and equipment than is included in our base rental fee. We must review your technical requirements in the area of lighting, sound, etc., to determine whether we can accommodate your event and estimate your total cost for the use of the facility. The base rental fee is intended primarily to cover minimum operating expenses.
