WE GOT PUBLISHED IN SUMMIT MAG!🤯🥹 not for elopements— maybe someday I’ll submit some of our elopement work somewhere but instead, this is about the passion that kinda just bled into what I got up to over last winter in Laos.

One of the long term guests that was staying at the Climber’s camp I was helping manage wrote this article—-

I have gotten quite a few new tattoos over the last couple of years but the ladies on my legs are a reminder to see people, not just the flowers (or limestone) that surround them. See them. Connect with them. They are more fulfilling than the petty flowers.

You hit us up and said you wanna elope…

…then casually drop that you’re inviting like 30 people. 🥴

We love that energy—but all of our Honeylope Trips were originally built for “just us” elopements. So when couples bring the whole crew, it’s been a bit of a freestyle puzzle we gotta sort out everytime.

It’s Bambi’s birthday! 🎂

3 years ago, I was sitting around the fire thinking about the direction I wanted to take my my elopement business.

Adventure Elopements was blowing up and I wanted to be different from every other photographer who got ordained and bought a van.

Staying true to myself— I wanted my elopement business to be original and experiential. For Sure, I’m a great photographer and you are obviously gonna want dope pics for your weddin and I can deliver that in my sleep but what’s most fufilling and meaningful for me is to create authentic moments for couples that gets them stoked, make them grow and inspire them to see things with new eyes.

So I bought an airstream and invented the ‘Honeylope.’

Not gonna lie—when I first started out, I’d take bookings anywhere just for the adventure. But after nearly a decade shooting adventure elopements, What lights me up the most is sharing the places I really know. The ones I’ve explored season after season. The spots where I can say, “trust me, this trail is gonna blow your funking mind.”

That’s what makes the photos always turn out so epic. We are not just showing up somewhere pretty to snap some pics and sign some papers, but we are showing up to a place that I’m literally obsessed with and really WANT you to experience in an authentic way. The photography is just a reflection of doing THAT really well.

For our last elope of 2024 we took Allie and Michele up to our favorite sunset spot for an exciting ceremony. We had the cliff all to ourselves that night and the weather was perrrrrrfect! The next couple of days we threw a mega after party-
Multi pitching up desert towers and rappelling through canyons.
Couldn’t have asked for a more incredible way to close out the 2024 season. We still have two openings in@Sedona for next November if Michelle and Allie spark some inspiration! 🔥

What was I thankful this year? Well, when I went to say good bye to Michelle and Greg their last morning, they couldn’t stop raving about how freaking amazeballs Claudia is and how special and memorable she made their elopement. From performing the most amazing ceremony to follow a first dance song at sunset on top of a desert cliff+ rappelling adventures the next day… this woman is just like the full freaking package!

When I envisioned all the elements that I wanted our Honeylope trips to have, Claudia makes happen all of those things that I could not.

I am so so freaking thankful to have her on my team🔥

Desert season starts in just a couple of weeks!

Holy s**t! My time in Colorado went way too quick! It’s been nice not shooting for a couple months…focusing on PT, Healing, Climbing with friends and growing my community here in Ouray has been the most important steps this summer.

As much as I’m gonna sob leaving my adored mountain town in colorado at the end of the month, I couldn’t be more excited to get back to my
desert rat life.

This fall Moab first, then Zion and of course Sedona!

We’ve still got availability for these locations next spring! + Page and Grand Canyon (our other favorite desert wonderlands) 🔥😛

This 3 day celebration was over a year coming for these two incredible women. Last year, just days before their elopement trip, I got a call and due to some extremely unfortunate circumstances- they were not able to make the flight out to the coast for their elopement. So, they got married at the courthouse and a year later we finally got to do all the things we had planned the year prior.

They shared vows in a giant forest, explored the beautiful coastline for sunset and then, we even got them on some rocks the next day up at Smith!

I still remember the stoke I felt getting off my first call with Samara and Joe when they reached out about eloping with us in Zion.

Everything that I thought would be super sic to do and recommended that we try during their trip, they were totally psyched on:

✅Hiking 7 mi rt to have the most epic spot to share their vows

✅Climb the tallest via Ferrata in Utah

✅Try a multi pitch climb to an amazing summit for sunset and rappel down in wedding attire

Agreeing to all my crazy ideas takes a good amount of courage, Especially on your wedding day!

But man…. their elopement was one for the books!

Courage is gold🔥

Can’t believe we are already approaching summer….

We had such an incredible spring season season in the southwest again, starting with this AMAZING couple

We kicked off their 5-day Honeylope adventure in the desert of Northern Arizona. Sandstone cliffs towered around these two as they read their vows and our newest team member officiated her first ceremony. Many tears were had, and not just from the ones getting married… The next few days were filled with off-roading trails, then roadtripping up to Utah! We camped next to our favorite lake up there and although their last day was a bit gusty, the evening was calm enough to celebrate around the fire with SO MANY laughs, good food, and a couple rounds of UNO. The best parts of the trip was hearing Vikas tell us about his heritage. Being from India, camping wasn’t really a thing he grew up doing or got to experience as an adult. Making dinner around the fire that last night, he was so stoked- his bride and their new adventure was just getting started….

It’s hard to believe that this trip was already three months ago, but these memories are sure to last a lifetime.

We love you ! We be missin’ you over here, dudes🥺🥺🥺

FAQ: HOW ARE YOU HONNA ELOPE PEOPLE WITH A BROKEN ANKLE?

After my accident in Lao a couple months ago, my biggest bummer wasn’t that I wouldn’t get to climb for a while. I mean, that truly carried a heavy mental weight, but what consumed most of thoughts was
how I would be able to host and photograph all of the incredible couples who were planning to Honeylope with us when I got back.

I had so many psyched couples counting on me and my company.. how was I NOT going to let any of them down?
