Nicki Rutledge has been working within a portrait studio since she was 15 years old. Now being 31 she has a little more experience than the average photographer her age. Nicki attended Gwinnett Tech for Commercial Photography and has worked as assistant manager at Picture People, Tanner Portrait Studio’s Go Get Em Girl... where she worked circles around others whom had been working their for 5+ years she learned herself within 6 months and finally left and began her own business now three years ago.
Nicki Specializes in Lifestyle Family Portraiture of all kinds, from Newborns to Seniors to telling a couples story starting at the beginning at the Wedding. Her business is split into two sections, one being “Whimsical Weddings” which was originally called “Whimsical Photography” which she began calling her photography business in 2008, yet within a business license was never official... until four years ago she realized someone took her name!!! Which became very aggravating and finally she decided to use her name, because that was something NO ONE could take from her!
My work is unique and varies upon each setting. When editing, I like a more fairytale like feel from images, especially those which are from my Creative & Whimsical Mini Sessions, yet for my Family Portrait Clients, their Galleries consist of a variety of images and include both posed and unposed images.
I also have pricing and packages for Weddings, Events & Fundraisers. Available for Hire for clients seeking Natural Light or Studio Portraiture with strobes.
