True Story: Any time I’ve ever tried to attend a Tori Kelly concert, my day is filled with technology issues, mishaps and significant stress.📱It happened again this past weekend, but I prepped this time, but still had some issues and stress. 🤓 The enemy doesn’t like when you’re happy, so be THAT much happier and add a cherry on top! 🍒

The world will lie and tell you “Women’s Empowerment” is one thing, but in reality it’s just the opposite. When you really dissect it, it becomes quite clear. Remember, God is a God of LIFE! 🌿 Women are capable of so much and overcoming adversity! Look at all the successful women out there and what so many have overcome! And even those who have made a different past decision (for whatever reason), they are just as worthy of love, healing, forgiveness and are/can be successful women! They can be overcomers too! Remember these things this November. 🗳️ If our leaders don’t value the most vulnerable, are they really going to value YOU? Are they going to value the disabled? Are they going to value the elderly? Are they going to value the poor and those struggling to work? Those dealing with addictions? Those requiring total medical care/support? Abuse victims? Those struggling with their identities? And the list goes on… 🙏🏽 Be careful what society tries to “sell” you and watch what happens when you don’t buy into the narrative. If you ever want to know the side of Truth, look for the peace, love, calm, and joy. ☀️

I think a lot of creative minds will thrift. 🎨🖌️🧠 You can definitely find some treasures. 💎 I also think people who thrift have a special appreciation of things on another level and can spot quality items. I have thrifted on occasion and found some amazing things! 👗 I would like to thrift more.

I was so “lost” in the experience way up front and immersed in her music that I was COMPLETELY unaware of the magnitude of the crowd behind me and all around! 🤩🎶 Way 2 represent, Omaha!!!! 👏🏽

Coming soon…unveiling my dance shoes. This is one laundry bag full. 🥰🤩😆 Please remember this is from over the course of many years. My feet have remained pretty much the same size most of my life which is a plus in many ways, but then I end up never “growing” out of a lot of shoes and only disposing of them if damaged, etc. (pictured next to my tall trash can for size comparison 😉)

This was the personal video I first sent to my mother after I discovered my first place to dance in Kentucky (still during the pandemic)! I had gone there for a work contract. I was SO excited! I had a water stash in the trunk of my car, tee hee, so was taking a break. There was a free lesson earlier and then social dancing. @Blue Stallion Brewing Company in Lexington! Such a fun night! 💃🏽

Going through old childhood toys and items and parting ways with so much. I suppose it’s finally time. 🥰 However, here I find myself a bit stuck… 🎠 I used to wind this up and listen to it repeatedly as a little girl, singing along to the beloved Toyland lyrics… 🎵

This popped up today on my phone! …I guess it only selected certain pics. This was a day I was looking forward to for a VERY long time! Got to see and meet Tori Kelly!! 🎶 Ironically, that day, my phone decided to not charge from my drive from Lincoln to Omaha (what are the odds?). Pre-concert, I was in total distress and was trying to preserve the remaining battery when a peace finally came over me reminding me to just enjoy this whole moment (regardless of my phone) and not allow anything to ruin this special day!! 📱 March 22nd, 2019 Holland Performing Arts Center Omaha, Nebraska P.S. I get excited when I see a tour bus. 🤓

This is an old video clip, but this was dancing cumbia in the club Waoo back in the day. I just remember how fun that night was!! 💃🏽
