SILVER SQUAD: Practice location change just for tonight. NWU is doing a tournament set up tonight so we will be practicing in Snyder Arena on the mats instead of the wrestling room. See attached Map for Drop Off / Pick Up location. Practice is at the same time as usual just a different location!

This is a great opportunity over the Holiday break to get some mat time in if you are interested! NWTC does a great job of developing wrestlers and supporting local clubs. Let me know if you have questions!

🗓 December 30th - January 3rd
🤼 K - 8th Grade 🤼‍♀️

Camp will be broken into two Groups:
- Competitive Wrestlers 3+ years of experience.
- Beginner Wrestlers 0-2 years of experience.

All wrestler will learn from and alongside former D1 wrestlers. We will instruct, drill, and have live wrestling sessions.

THE COMPETITIVE GROUP will spend a lot of time “sparring” in different situations, along with multiple drills and live wrestling sessions. They will rotate between multiple partners during every session. For the competitive wrestlers our goal is to cram three months of takedown training into one week! Giving your wrestler the edge on their competition going into the season.

This camp will dive into a higher level of detail on position, pressure, and timing of your takedowns. Along with counter takedowns, and chain wrestling multiple attacks together.

THE BEGINNER GROUP will focus on repetition of fundamental takedowns and “sparring” in fundamental positions. We have been running day camps for 10+ years now, and we know how to keep the camp fun for beginner wrestlers while keeping them improving. Each day we will stretch them to grow, but most importantly we will ensure they have a ton of fun and fall in love with the sport of wrestling even more!

This camp is held at Nebraska Wesleyan University (Nebraska Wesleyan University Wrestling).

Each day of camp will finish with a fun actvity.

📆 Daily Schedule:
8am - 9am Drop-Off
9am - 11:30am Technique, Drill, & Sparring
11:30am - 12:30pm Lunch
12:30pm - 3:00pm Technique, Drill, & Sparring
3:00pm - 4:30pm Campus Activity (swim., Indoor track, etc)
4:30pm - 5pm Pickup
