10U Lincoln All Stars had a great State Soccer Tournament in Dothan this weekend! The team finished second in their bracket with a 2-1 record. Each game was highly competitive and all of the kids played extremely well and fought hard. Well done and we are proud of you!

Good luck and safe travels to our 10u All-Star Soccer Team this weekend! They will be traveling to Dothan to compete in the 2024 ARPA State Tournament and play on Saturday and Sunday. I know they will represent the City of Lincoln and the community well!

Youth Basketball Update

Due to ongoing renovations to our gym floor, below are the updated evaluation dates and times for youth basketball.

Tuesday, November 12
5:30 pm - 8u Basketball (Boys)
6:30 pm - 10u Basketball (Boys)
7:30 pm - 12u Basketball (Boys)

Wednesday, November 13
5:30 pm - 6u Basketball (Co-Ed)

*8u Girls Basketball and 12u Girls Basketball will not have evaluations. Coaches will be in touch with a practice schedule after evaluations.
**Participants are not required to attend evaluations. If a child can not attend, they will still be eligible to participate.

All evaluations will take place at Lincoln City Center, 120 Jones St. Lincoln, AL 35096. More information has been shared with all via email provided on RecDesk.

Huge shout out to all of our All-Star Soccer teams for representing Lincoln well at the ARPA District Tournament in Sylacauga this past Saturday! We had one team in 6u, 8u, 10u, and 12u age divisions and they all did a great job!

Congratulations to our 10u All-Star Soccer team for finishing runner-up and advancing to the ARPA State Tournament in Dothan, AL on November 16-17!

We need coaches! Visit lincolnpark.recdesk.com to sign up to coach youth basketball this season. All volunteer coaching requirements are listed in the post below.

We need volunteer coaches this basketball season!

Mandatory Coaching Requirements: All volunteer coaches must have a signed LPRD Coach Code of Conduct on file, a background check on file that has been cleared within the past calendar year, AND completed the Coach Safely Training within the past calendar year.

- Coach Safely Training can be completed online by visiting coachsafely.com/thecourse. The certificate may be uploaded during the online application process on RecDesk.
- A Coach Code of Conduct can be signed digitally during the online application process.
- The City of Lincoln's Background Check Form and Background Screening Policy can be accessed by visiting lincolnpark.recdesk.com and clicking on "Forms". A completed background check form can be turned in to the Park Office or emailed to [email protected]. Individuals who do not meet the guidelines outlined in the background screening policy will not be considered.
