Top 10 in National Points / After 26 Weeks

With only four weeks remaining in the 2024 Crate Racin' USA season, David Williamson (Seminary, MS) has continued to hold the top spot, maintaining his lead since July 7th. Williamson now leads Chase Holland (Success, MS) by just 12 points after Week 26 of the season. Holland has surged in the second half of the season, with 20 top-10 finishes in 21 starts and 7 of those being victories. Williamson, on the other hand, has remained consistent with 9 wins in 27 starts and 25 top-10 finishes. The top two are working to keep multi-time national champion Shannon Lee (Lumberton, MS) in their rear-view mirrors with only four weeks left in the season. Lee has collected 6 wins in 23 starts and 16 top-5 finishes this season. Darin Patrick (West Monroe, LA) has been in the top 5 for the last eight weeks and is currently fourth, trailing by only 28 points and just 8 points behind Lee for third. Ben Davis (Poplarville, MS) has moved from outside the top 10 in points two weeks ago to within the top 10 a week ago, and now he has climbed into the top 5 with four weeks remaining in the national points season. As the end of the season approaches with the calendar turning to September, the pressure continues to build. The 2024 champions will be crowned at the year-end banquet in January 2025.

Top 10 in National Points / After 25 Weeks

Only five weeks remain in the 2024 Crate Racin' USA season, and David Williamson (Seminary, MS) is still at the top of the standings with some new competition. Chase Holland (Success, MS) has been climbing the ranks rapidly and now sits in second place, just 15 points behind Williamson going into the final five weeks. Holland has earned 7 wins in his 20 events and has managed 19 top 10 finishes in those races. Shannon Lee (Lumberton, MS) drops to third this week, now trailing by 17 points, with a comfortable gap back to Sid Scarbrough (Florence, MS), who is 45 points behind Lee. Darin Patrick (West Monroe, LA) rounds out the top five, 73 points behind Williamson.

Crate Racin' USA Weekly Late Models
Top 10 in National Points / After 24 Weeks

Only six weeks remain in the 2024 Crate Racin' USA season, and David Williamson (Seminary, MS) holds the top spot, but former multi-time national champion Shannon Lee (Lumberton, MS) is closing in. The top two are now separated by just 21 points with the season winding down quickly. Sid Scarbrough (Florence, MS) has dropped back one spot to third going into week 25 and now trails Williamson by 58 points and Lee by 21 points. Chase Holland (Success, MS) made a significant leap this week, jumping from seventh to fourth, but is now 60 points behind the leader with six weeks to go. Darin Patrick (West Monroe, LA) rounds out the top five, trailing Holland by only nine points. The chase for the championship is far from over, as the top eight drivers are all within 97 points of the top spot.

Rogers-Dabbs Performance Parts - Crate Racin' USA Weekly Late Models
Top 10 in National Points / After 18 Weeks

The eighteenth week is in the books, and Shannon Lee (Lumberton, MS) is still atop the standings, now by 15 points over David Williamson (Seminary, MS). You have to go back to May 5th to find a week that these two weren't the top two in the national standings, and it appears for now, they'll decide the championship amongst themselves as they have opened a 91-point gap back to Sid Scarbrough (Florence, MS), who sits in the third spot. Lee captured a runner-up spot at Jackson, and Williamson grabbed a tenth-place finish that same night. Scarbrough will need to keep the pressure on heading into the final eleven weeks of the season. Darin Patrick (West Monroe, LA) gained one spot from last week, moving up to fourth from fifth. K I Davis (Poplarville, MS) reentered the top five with a feature win at Jackson Motor Speedway on Saturday night. It was his second win of the season and moved him into the top five ahead of Seth Traweek (West Monroe, LA) and Justin Jacobs (Tuscumbia, AL) with only eleven weeks remaining in the points season.

Top 10 in National Points / After 17 Weeks

Lumberton, Mississippi driver Shannon Lee still controls the points lead over David Williamson of Seminary, MS, now by just seven points. Williamson gained one point over week 17 on Lee with a feature win on Saturday night at Whynot Motorsports Park, marking his third straight win, with two at Hattiesburg and the most recent at Whynot. Lee has shown why he is a multi-time champion with his consistency throughout the season, picking up a second-place finish at Super Bee Speedway on Saturday night in Chatham, LA. He now has 13 top-5 finishes in 16 features and 15 top-10 finishes in those 16 features. Sid Scarbrough (Florence, MS) managed to keep the third spot locked down after week 17, though he did lose some ground on the leader by not competing over the weekend, now sitting 88 points out of the top spot. Jason Henry (Brandon, MS) moved up one spot to fourth after week 17, picking up a 10th-place finish on Saturday night at Whynot. Henry has put together four straight top-10 finishes and is now just two points behind Scarbrough for third. Darin Patrick (West Monroe, LA) made the biggest jump of the week, going from seventh to fifth. Patrick backed up his win one week ago at Super Bee Speedway with another top-five finish this week at Super Bee, giving him 10 top-5 finishes in 10 features, three of which have been wins.

Top 10 in National Points / After 16 Weeks

Shannon Lee (Lumberton, MS), a three-time CRUSA weekly late model national champion, continues to lead the Rogers-Dabbs Performance Parts Crate Racin' USA Weekly Late Models after 16 weeks of competition. Lee holds an eight-point advantage over David Williamson (Seminary, MS). Lee picked up a top 10 finish at Hattiesburg Speedway on Friday night, while Williamson grabbed the checkered flag that same night, marking his third win of the season in 13 starts. Sid Scarbrough (Florence, MS) sits third again this week, 39 points away from the top spot and 31 points away from second place Williamson. Scarbrough had a rough night at Magnolia Motor Speedway; after qualifying ninth, bad luck dropped him ten spots in the feature, finishing 18th when the checkered flag flew. K I Davis (Poplarville, MS) stayed fourth in the standings with a third-place finish at Hattiesburg on Friday. This was Davis's eighth top 5 in just 13 features in 2024. Crate Racin' USA | VP Racing Fuels Young Guns Challenge Series
Top 10 in National Points / After 16 Weeks

Chase Holland (Success, MS) continues to hold the top spot in the VP Racing Fuels Young Guns division. Holland has collected 10 top 10s in his 10 starts, including two wins. His lead over Cameron Saunders (Lake City, FL) currently sits at 65 points heading into the summer months. Saunders has been solid as well, racking up 4 top 10s in just 5 features, with two of them being top 5 runs. Rookie driver Austin Morris (Foley, AL) rides in the third spot after 16 weeks. Morris has been locked in with 5 top 10s in 5 starts, with half of those being top 5 finishes. Fellow rookie driver Kason Harper (Pelahatchie, MS) is close behind Morris, just 18 points behind him. Harper had been perfect with top 10s until some bad luck struck at Magnolia Motor Speedway on Saturday night. "The Ghost" Bubba Roling has dropped back to fifth in the standings as he competes not only for the VP Racing Fuels Young Gun Challenge Series championship, but also on the national tour. He currently sits fifth in the national tour standings and has a good starting spot for the series event at Tazewell Speedway this weekend.

Top 10 in National Points / After 14 Weeks

The 14th week of the Rogers-Dabbs Performance Parts Crate Racin' USA Weekly Late Models is in the books, and no changes occurred during the weekend. Shannon Lee (Lumberton, MS) continues to hold the number one spot with David Williamson (Seminary, MS) in second by just 16 points. Jason Henry (Brandon, MS), Sis Scarbrough (Florence, MS), and Chris McElhenney (Decatur, MS) round out the rest of the top five, once again only separated by 46 points as the season works into the month of June.
