Wow—what a Valentine’s Day! It was a whirlwind of flowers, love, and nonstop hustle, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. To my amazing customers, THANK YOU for choosing my little flower shop to help make your Valentine’s Day extra special.

Your support means the world to me, whether you placed an order, stopped in for a last-minute bouquet, shared a kind word, or simply cheered me on from afar. Small businesses thrive because of wonderful people like you, and I’m beyond grateful for every single one of you.

Three years since I lost my mom, and somehow, life has kept moving. It doesn’t feel right that the world didn’t stop that day—because mine did. Grief is strange like that. It doesn’t go away, it just changes. Some days, it still feels like I can’t catch my breath, and others, I find myself smiling, remembering her laugh, her love, her warmth.

Valentine’s Day used to be about flowers and love. Now, it’s also about loss and resilience. About missing her. About learning how to live in a world where she’s not just a phone call away. It hasn’t been easy. Grief has been overwhelming at times, and so have the struggles that came with it. But if there’s one thing I know, it’s that my mom wouldn’t want me to stay stuck in sadness. She’d want me to live, to push forward, to do something meaningful.

So I did. I poured my heart into something that reminds me of her. My flower shop isn’t just a business—it’s a piece of me, a piece of her. Every bouquet I make, every arrangement I create, I hope she sees it. I hope she’s proud.

Today, I celebrate love in all forms—love for my family, love for my passion, and most of all, love for the woman who made me who I am. I miss you, Mom, more than words can ever say.

Happy Valentine’s Day to each and every one of you! Remember, if you are out and about today stop in and see me! I’ll have a yellow rose for you while supplies last 💛

Valentine's Day has always been the biggest holiday in the floral world, but for me, it holds an even deeper meaning. On February 14, 2022, I lost my mom - my best friend, my supporter, and the kindest soul I've ever known. She had a heart of gold, always giving to others without expecting anything in return.

In her honor, I want to share a small piece of her kindness. This Valentine's Day, I will be giving out a yellow rose - a symbol of friendship and love, and her favorite color - to anyone who comes in to the store, while supplies last. It's my way of keeping her spirit alive and spreading a little of the warmth she gave to the world.

If you stop by, I'd love to share a memory of her with you. And if you've lost someone you love, know that you are not alone - this day is about all kinds of love, not just the romantic kind.
