The Colonel Mustard Amateur Attic Theatre Company An arts community that began with an idea: "Let's put on plays in our attic for our friends to watch!" The Colonel Mustard is a house.

A two-story, mustard-colored Victorian built by a crotchety old Nebraska historian named Albert Watkins. Built in 1887, the house is the eleventh oldest house in Lincoln, Nebraska. It serves as the headquarters for the nonprofit, and occasionally it serves as a stage, storage area, and recording studio, as well. A variety of people involved with the Mustard's productions have lived in the house si

nce 2007. The Colonel Mustard is also a community of friends who strive to love wholeheartedly and live creatively. In addition to our productions, we enjoy hosting potlucks and other celebrations of friendship at the Mustard. We also like raptors, but not in the kitchen. Throughout the months and weeks leading up to large-scale Mustard productions, you will no doubt find any number of Mustardians building large set pieces, painting unique props, fashioning colorful masks, acting out scenes, or sharing a meal. The Mustard operates on donations of time, talents, and money -- and Mustard shows are always presented free to the public.

We've discovered that the thrill of community theater is about more than just putting on shows--it's about the magic and wonder of doing much with little. This meager offering has taken on a life of its own as more and more people get excited about being involved in each new production. These projects stem from a joyful community of art. Much more than just performances, the Mustard hosts potlucks, themed parties, and has become a haven for creative expression and community. Our mission is to do things just because they're awesome.

Hey everybody, here's how to join the big Jurassic Park: The Musical: 3D watch party TONIGHT! Head over to THIS PAGE and click on the Watch Party on the page wall. We'll start it at about 5 minutes to showtime at 7pm Central. When you click, it will open up a video screen on Facebook, where you can watch along in real time with us and share your reactions! You can easily watch on your phone, tablet, or computer, or maybe even your TV if you've got Dr. Wu-level technology in your lab. MUSTARDIAN COMMUNITY! How are you? Are you well? Are you safe? Are you staying home? Are you whiling away the hours by knitting humanimal costumes? (We hope so!)

In these challenging cooped-up weeks, some of us old Mustardians have decided: there's no better time for us to rally up the old gang and "get together" (VIRTUALLY) to re-watch some old Mustard Classics. That's right, it's a COLONEL MUSTARD QUARANTINE PARTY!

MARK YOUR CALENDARS for Wednesday, April 1st (6pm PT / 8pm CT / 9pm ET), to please join us for a synced-up long-distance group-watch of the fan-favorite X-FILES THE MUSICAL. We will host the digital watch party on a TBD platform (details to come) that will allow us to be together (in SPIRIT), singing along, laughing along, basking in nostalgia, bathing in Purell.
