From Behind the Corn is BACK! And for this one, we’re throwing it back to 2023 with Tyler and Kypton ONeal during their GW75 experience! Through mud and rain, came out stronger on the other side!
“What made the day even more special was having my wife, Melissa, there to support us. She was our biggest cheerleader, waiting at the finish line to take pictures and celebrate with us. At the end of the day, it wasn’t about the race results. The most important thing was that we were out there together, father and son, enjoying the ride and making memories that will last a lifetime.”

Nebraska's Largest Ultra 50k Run will be back in 2025!! This also reopens the FULL DOUBLE which is the 50k run Friday and 150 Bike on Saturday for the ultimate gravel conqueror!!

Massive shoutout to all the volunteers for this year, but an extra thank you to the extra water oasis and roaming water vehicles who were on the back half of the 75 and last 50 of the 150 course trying to keep everyone hydrated and cool as possible! Our roaming vehicles alone went through over 500lbs of ice. Thank you so much to those who kept signing up to volunteer up until race day. We even had a couple racers finish and go head out with bottles of water and ice. It definitely takes a village to pull this off, and there is no village greater than the Gravel Family!!
This was a tough year with the elements. Mother Nature pushed us to the extreme in many ways on race day. To make sure we’re better prepared, we’ll have hard lined water stops at least every 25 miles in place in 2025. While we also had a record number of sweepers this year, we’re already working with the Nebraska Jeep Club to have more sweeper vehicles as well.
Great job to everyone who showed up and gave it their all this year! Volunteers and athletes alike.

He’ll take ✌️… wins of the Garmin Gravel Worlds 75 mile race!!! With a time of 3:49:12, breaking out of a sprint, @iamjakemagee is your two time GW75 CHAMP!
THE RECORD HAS NOT ONLY BEEN BROKEN… BUT CRUSHED by almost an hour and a half! Our 2024 Garmin Gravel Worlds Long Voyage Champion @loukall traversed our course in only 15:40:36, with @cmehlman34 clinching second- 17 seconds behind. That’s one for the history books, fellas.
All the way from Wisconsin, Jackie Hering is your 2024 Garmin Gravel Worlds Land Ho 25k Women’s Winner! With a time of 1:43:26, she conquered her day and will continue tomorrow with a 75 mile bike race to complete her Half Double! Congrats, Jackie! You earned it!
With a time of 1:37:55, DJ Snyder from Edmond Oklahoma is your 2024 Garmin Gravel Worlds Men’s Land Ho 25k Winner! But his weekend doesn’t stop here… Entered in the GGW Half Double, he will be racing his bike 75 miles tomorrow and then will compete in the @greatplainsgraveltriathlon on Sunday- WHAT A WEEKEND. Hot Thoughts
Couple thoughts on the heat potential. TLDR1. We are increasing our ice at checkpoints to use for bottles and body. 2. We are working on adding water stops and will also have rolling water trucks driving the course in reverse on the back half of the 75 and 150 courses.3. Utilize @livehydrationspalenox before and after the race. 4. We will be very strict on time cut offs. We’ll post those times by Thursday evening. 5. You can drop to a shorter distance until Thursday. Do that through your bike reg account. 6. Road are rolling fast and are beautiful right now!!

Rules of the Road!!! Stay right. Slowdown/Stop at stop signs until it’s clear to proceed. Stay in the roadway. It’s critical that all of us are following the rules of the road at all gravel events. Not only for safety, but for the longevity of the sport of gravel cycling.
Let’s talk number plates!! Do not bend, cut, tape, modify your number plates!! For the safety of all riders, we must have number plates displayed properly!

Let’s talk highway crossings!! All riders MUST STOP at all highway crossings unless instructed otherwise by a Lincoln Police Department or Lancaster Sheriff Officer. Any violations will result in an automatic DQ AND a lifetime ban from all Gravel Worlds events. YES, this especially includes the pro categories!!! We have 18 officers hired to be monitoring and assisting out on course and all riders must follow the rules of the road AND follow officer instructions. Thank you to all riders for following these rules to make sure we have a safe and successful event for many years to come!!
