It's world teachers day!

Do you have a favorite teacher? Did you celebrate a teacher today?

Our owner, Laurie, was a teacher for 17 years. She started in the Special Education Department working with students that had learning disabilities and behavior disorders and she loved every second of it. When the opportunity arose for her to get back to her roots of marketing, communications and advertising, she moved to the business department and finished 15 years of teaching students business management, entrepreneurship, sales, marketing and advertising. She loved her students and traveled with them several times a year sponsoring the club DECA. She placed the only international DECA president from the state of Nebraska then decided to move on to entrepreneurship herself.

She also taught conversational English in Spain for 12 years over her summers and made lifelong friends in Madrid.

We love it when people call to have us cater to students and you should see her eyes when a couple walks in for a tasting and one of them is a former student!

today I put 5 things on the calendar.. all for this week! We love last minute but it does create a frenzy as we redo staffing, get product in last minute, reschedule delivery drivers and vehicles.. but we do it for you!

What do we love? notice. We really do. While we can accommodate you the best we can, notice gives our chef's time to get their heads in the game. We aren't calling in people last minute on their day off, and the kitchen is peaceful!
