Lincoln Bike Rally/Postponed until July 9th, 2021 - July 11th, 2021
Dear Lincoln Bike Rally and Hell’s Belles Concert Friends;
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the 2020 Lincoln Bike Rally and Hell’s Belles Concert is officially postponed due to the safety concerns around the COVID-19 virus. Hell’s Belles Concert is rescheduled for Friday July 9th, 2021 and the Lincoln Bike Rally is rescheduled for July 9th, 2021 – July 11th, 2021.
While this was a very difficult decision to make, we are certain that this is the choice that had to be made. Our Board of Directors has been monitoring the developing situation since it first came to national attention. Although guidance has varied from County to County – State to State, there is consensus among the all that the best and most important way to lessen the overall impact of the virus is to take steps to slow the spread as much as possible by social distancing and with the unknown certainty of what phase the State of Montana will be in, in July adds to our decision to postpone for this years event.
With this in mind, and after consulting with several officials with the State of Montana, we unanimously agree that the only socially responsible option was to postpone the event. While we treasure the Rally and the Community of Lincoln, Mt., we simply cannot put our friends, families, community members, fellow Montana’s and our neighboring States at risk by hosting this long weekend gathering in these uncertain times. We hope this difficult decision may serve as a positive example to other organizers that who also may be grappling with the same deliberations as us.
