FINALLY made it to the deer stand this evening & got some quiet reflection time! Looking back on the last 2 months yall have kept us RUNNIN!!! Not to mention October being our busiest family month of the year with 3 birthdays and our wedding anniversary too. I haven't had any time to give updates or show appreciation in a while, so here goes.... October kicked off with a surprise visit from family who drove all the way from the other side of Austin to see me. I can't begin to describe feelings when I saw them walk in the restaurant (yes i did shed some tears). We were slammed that day so our visit was short, but the memory & love I have for these guys will last a lifetime! Gotta give credit too, whopping up on these guys in cook offs over the years is a big reason we're doing what we do today! Sorry I'm late, but love you guys & thanks for coming by! Additionally in October we had the privilege to serve multiple LK class reunions & to all those who trusted us with your meals, we can't thank yall enough! Yall made for some VERY busy weeks lol but we're honored to have served yall & thank you again! Last I'd like to give a special thank you & shout out to our very own LPD Chief David Dulude who not only has been a faithful weekly visitor, but an extra thanks for the awesome home made flower boxes that he gave us for up at the Pit. We finally got them all dressed up and they look beautiful! Chief has a wide variety of wood work crafts that he sales, and if you ever need anything please come see us inside the store for info, or contact him directly off the flyer stapled to the boxes. Still got time, would make perfect Christmas presents! Last I'd like to just give one big shout out thank you to all those who have continued to support us week after week & bared with us through all our up's/downs & growing pains. We've gone through multiple food vendors trying to find the right products to serve over the past few months, and last weekend we had our first computer POS system crash. But yall have stood by us and continue to support. Too many people to mention, but we try our hardest to catch every person and thank them personally everything they come up to our counter. Without yall this journey is pointless. On be half of our family, our work family, and all those family/friends who have done so much for us behind the scenes; THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!! Sorry for the long post but in the spirit of Thanksgiving we've just got so much to be thankful for! Love all you guys, and we'll keep seeing you @ The Pit!!!
