DONATE TO HURRICANE VICTIMS HERE

This is Courtney Evans
A local resident who has been volunteering her time collecting items for hurricane victims, making trips south, and also cooking for those in need.

This will be her 3rd out of state mission, a 4th to come in November
She spent 8 months on Fort Myers Island, serving Flint style coneys which were donated by our community, nearly 3,000 coneys that she cooked off of a grill belonging to a stranger who came from Tennessee, creating together a donations based restaurant. When she left Fort Myers, a tornado hit Mississippi where she headed next.

Fast forward to now, she is heading down in a few days with many donated items for those in need

She will be making another trip in November - this is where you come in

Schmelter Stoney Acres will be a drop off location for donated sleeping bags, blankets, and pillows.

You can bring these donated items to the Blue Barn on the property, message us to set up a time if needed, otherwise you can bring items to open mic on Thursday nights (please follow Open Mic at Schmelter Stoney Acres for remaining dates and information).

THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO, COURTNEY!
THANK YOU COMMUNITY FOR YOUR SUPPORT

It's official, the new windmill is up! 🎉

After purchasing a windmill from the 1920s, it was discovered that it was parts from three different heads. Ryan had to reengineer it to work together, including parts from our previous windmill. We are pleased to have a friend, who would like to remain anonymous, bring over the crane to help lift it up. Ryan had to secure the rigging and get it into place. With all new lights installed, it'll look great tonight when guests at Open Mic at Schmelter Stoney Acres get to view it for the first time!
