Today marks the first day of March FoodShare Month with Minnesota FoodShare and The Uncommon Loon Brewing Company is partnering with Family Pathways, Chisago Lakes Good Neighbors Club and Pizza Man - Lindstrom to collect food items for our local food shelf.

Are you looking for ways to help nurture your community? Now through April 6, you can drop off non-perishable food items at the Uncommon Loon Brewery in Chisago City. The most needed items are chunky soups, cereal, oatmeal, pancake mix, syrup, Pop Tarts, cake mix, frosting, peanut butter and sugar.

All items will be donated to Family Pathways in Chisago City. Thank you for supporting our local community.

Amazing, awesome, fantastic and phenomenal! Some of the things that I was told about the Rueben sandwiches yesterday! I seriously have some of the best customers that anyone could possibly ask for! I was also impressed by everyone who said that they were voting daily for me as well!!! Thank you all so very much! I will be back at the Uncommon Loon on March 12th through March 16th with the Rueben sandwiches along with the Irish Stew and Corned Beef Dinner! I will have some of my usual menu items but I’ve been asked to make some other items that I will be making during that week as well! Again, Thank you so very much!!

Cruise on down to the Loon for some great food and uncommonly good beers.

Center City Swine Circus food truck will be kicking off St. Patrick's Day Month with the return of their Reuben Sandwiches. All that delicious smoked corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut and grilled, marbled rye bread just hits the spot this time of year. They will also be serving their normal BBQ-centric menu all day. Serving from 1 - 7pm.

Just another reminder, we have less than 1 keg of our Chocolate Cherry Stout left. If you enjoy this seasonal beer, you should probably come in sometime this weekend and get your last pint or two before it's gone for the season. Maybe grab a couple crowlers so you can have some at home when our keg runs out. Help us make some room for some other beers.

Today is the big day that you’ve all been waiting for! That’s right, Rueben’s are back!!! With any luck we should be open around one o’clock today at the Uncommon Loon! I will also have my regular menu items for you to enjoy as well! Make your plans and come by for your favorite bbq guy!
