🐾HELP: 🐾

This 5 month old girl pup Mia is showing very sickly symptoms - she is not doing well & will be taken to an emergency vet at 4PM this afternoon. These vet costs at ER locations are usually thousands of dollars.

HELP us help provide vet care for this pup.

As noted in the The Salem News last week the Columbiana County Humane Society was broken into. The break in is still being investigated & we will not reply to comments about it at this time. Mia was one of the animals let out of her cage to wander in the building with a bunch of other lose animals.

REMINDERS on Firework Safety! 🇱🇷🎆

Us humans can't seem to get enough of fireworks, and love to celebrate the Independence Day holiday. However, many animals are terrified of fireworks, and experience extreme anxiety. Here are a few tips to to keep your pet safe during the 4th of July!

❤️ Keep your pet INDOORS during the fireworks!
🤍 Create a safe place for your pet to hide! This space should be quiet (like a basement), and can even include white noise from a tv or radio to help mitigate some of the noise from firecrackers.
💙 Provide lots of enrichment and activities to distract your pet.
❤️ Consider hiring a trainer to work on desensitization. It's too late for this year, but you can still prepare for next year!
🤍 Make sure their collar is well-fitted, with up-to-date information.
💙 Make sure your microchip company has accurate information.

Meet Shadow!

This young guy is super shy at first but once he warms up to you he can be very sweet. He was adopted out from us as a puppy unfortunately due to no real fault of his own he is bad with us. His previous owners where having health problems so he had to come back.
