Pulse Studio has been working with the Lisle Warhol Committee to create the theme graphic and activity map for this summer's Andy Warhol activities. Christopher Fry will be reading one of the honorees bios at the unveiling ceremony this Saturday May 20th @ 11am. Come check it out!

As experiential designers it’s important to know how to take a concept into production. We asked ACME Design Inc in Elgin if we could take a tour of their fabrication facilities. Luckily Clint Borucki was willing to let the Pulse Studio design team check it out.

Their talented artisans explained their specialties. This tour helped our designers understand the processes of rapid prototyping, castings, 3d scanning & printing, and making props that go into our experiential and trade show booth designs.

Yesterday we had a committee meeting at our office. When one of our guest went to leave, they got stuck on the parking blocks. I ran over to Greg at Diehl Auto Repair to see what we should do. He mobilized quickly and brought Joshua with a car jack to save the day. Thanks to Greg and Josh for acting so quickly to help her out. AJ, you've got a great team over there. That's why I love living here and having my business in Lisle.

Scenic designers at Pulse Studio develop concepts that fit the brand and goals of each client. When people spend time with something, they tend to develop an attachment. While we view each project as one of our design babies, it’s important to step back and review our designs internally. Here’s an image from last week’s internal meeting to critique each other’s work. It's painful to have your work reviewed by others, but the process is intended to be constructive. By encouraging open discussion, we evolve our techniques to be the best scenic and tradeshow designers. Bringing lunch in after the discussion also helps attendance but so does the fact that it’s mandatory. :)

CREATE DECENTRALAND WEARABLES COLLECTIONS / BRANDED VIRTUAL MERCH

Upon entering a metaverse such as Decentraland, you will start by creating your 3D avatar. Your avatar is the digital representation of you. In Decentraland, you can buy, sell, and earn collectible wearables that can be used to dress your avatar. This is a way to show off your personal style, what communities you belong to, and even the events you have attended. These limited-edition NFT wearables are collectables that can be bought and sold. If you are having an event, consider selling or giving away a wearable to commemorate and reward those fans that attended your event.
