I am making a very large series flower piece of art. This is where I am starting. I got this amazing frame at a yard sale. Added chicken wire to the back. And now I am putting my flowers and greenery into the wire. I can’t wait to share how it turns out!

Thought I would share this with folks who may be interested ❤️

Hi friends! I'm doing a thing at the library again - seed saving and then I'll be toughing base on winter sowing as well. Come join me (the last workshop was so popular + registration filled up we had to do 2 sessions). Register now if you are interested because I'm only doing one this time!

Just in time for winter sowing, Stacy Lamountain of Moose Meadow Flowers will be returning to the library for another popular topic! Join us for a workshop where Stacy will share seeds harvested from her farm and demonstrate how to separate them from the flower heads. You'll learn to identify vi...

Today’s flower arrangement was made with the fresh greenery I picked yesterday (the Hellebores were a bit too wilted so they are in another vase trying to perk up) and some dried flowers. Not too shabby!

I just harvested these flowers, this foliage and red berries from my yard in southern New Hampshire. It’s December 17, 2024. That’s pretty wild to me 🤯

We will be at Darrah Pond with Dried Flower Ornaments made by Alex and Olivia (flowers grown and dried by Stacy) 🌸. We will also have Hot Cocoa and Chocolate Chunk Cookies from as well as inexpensive holiday/light up items for kiddos (as craft fair can be $$$) 🎄 Cheers!

One of my notoriously early Hellebores (aka: lentin roses) is already blooming!

Olivia had a blast making this video. She is an (almost) 8 year old seed saving guru! ❤️🌸

I foraged this and made an arrangement in the pot between my garage doors. Most of this came from my parents yard - except the holly berries ❤️ Stay tuned as I will be updating the urns at the Litchfield library too!

Think twice before you rake, mow, and blow this year. Luna Moths, butterflies and other invertebrates rely on fallen leaves and other organic debris to cover and insulate them from the elements.

Think twice before you rake, mow, and blow this year. Invertebrates rely on fallen leaves and other organic debris to cover and insulate them from the elements. Whatever your landscape, you can ensure that resources for nests and overwintering habitat are available.

It’s November 7th and having hardy perennials putting on their second show of the year this late is simply amazing! And the greenery is a volunteer from an annual grown this spring. The more you grow the more grows by itself ❤️

Hi folks! A reminder about tomorrow’s plant swap in Litchfield: the soil is warm and there is plenty of time to get perennials in the ground. I just planted some over at GMS today ❤️

As a reminder, I’ll be there doing some fall gardening in the Aaron Cutler Memorial Library, Litchfield, NH’s garden beds. If anyone wants to help during the plant swap - bring your gardening gloves, snips and hori hori knives.

I’ll also be on hand to answer any questions folks have about their garden plants or the new Seed Library, etc.

Stop by and swap your plants or come by for the whole time, 1-3pm and socialize with our fun group of like minded folks. And be sure to dress for the weather - it will be in the 50s, a true autumn day!
