This class is taught on two very special flower farms and will cover topics including growing, care, harvest tips and all things design! We are very lucky to be partnering with Electric Moon Peony Farm in Little Compton and Dahlia Shed in Middletown to learn all about peonies and dahlias-everyone's favorites!

If you are a creative, enjoy learning something new and/or enjoy flowers- these two classes are for you! All levels welcome. Everyone will walk away with a class booklet filled with all of the information covered, including resources to help you grow and design for years to come! Also, everyone will design their very own centerpieces. All supplies provided.

Come and enjoy time with your local flower farmers and floral designer, out in nature, at two picturesque and stunning farms!

Lots of fresh, locally grown/gathered/and designed wreaths have left our studio this week and I couldn’t be more proud. I love designing for people and I love celebrating the bounty of what each season produces! This year the kids and I were loving this golden arborvitae. It definitely made each one sparkle in a special way! ✨✨✨

Announcement! We are taking a select number of wreath orders this year. These are made from 100% Rhode Island grown greens, all locally foraged by me (and some little ones) and hand crafted to accent any front door, mantle, or other show-worthy spot at your home!
All wreaths are $85, are 14” in diameter, are very full and lush and come with some festive accessories and a beautiful ribbon. Colors can be requested and we will try our best to match your vision!

That’s a wrap for all of our 2021 (and 2020) weddings. Although this year was challenging, fast paced and sometimes overwhelming- I feel so blessed to have gotten to serve some of the most thankful and nicest clients I’ve ever experienced in my eight years of running this company.
2022 is going to look a lot different with some new changes and exciting additions coming to TLB- more on that coming soon. But for now, I’m going to take a breather and soak in some much needed time with my kids💕

We are underway of a very busy week. We have a triple header coming filled with lots of beautiful colors, textures and the sweetest of couples. We have been planning, organizing, cleaning, ordering, and studying for these events for months, years now- so we are excited to start designing and executing for each of our clients.
Not only will be slinging lots of flowers this week in the studio but school is also starting for our kids which means I’ll be looking like this😭😭😭. After 1.5 years of homeschool life it’s bittersweet to send the kids back to school. I’ll miss quarantine life with them and our many adventures together💕

Our “Dahlia Dreaming” class this Saturday with the is sold out! Well actually it’s been sold out for over a week now and I’ve been too busy to notice🤦🏻‍♀️ Just as excited though, I promise!
Can’t wait to see all of our attendees and walk the rows and rows of beautiful Dahlias with Amy! is such a wealth of knowledge when it comes to dahlias and we are so lucky to be partnering with her again this year.

This past weekend we celebrated our sweet couple J&M at with a talented team of vendors all working our hardest to bring our client’s beautiful vision to life.
This wedding season has been challenging to say the least, but I am feeling blessed to have amazing couples like J&M, who took the time to write us a handwritten note thanking us for our time and talent making their wedding day possible. Little sentiments like this I do not take lightly. I consider them a sign that we are not only doing our job but we’re doing it well. That handwritten note gave me the boost of energy and reassurance I needed to tackle the second half of this wedding season. And for that I am very grateful for!

Did you know when we are designing for our weddings and events, we source flowers and foliage from upwards of 7 different sources including local flower farms, local wholesalers, national flower farms and national wholesalers. It’s a lot to orchestrate but when the flowers arrive to the studio, you know all your hard work was worth it!
In order to have success in doing this every week, great relationships are a must. To know each of my farmers and wholesalers is a must. To know how and where my flowers are grown is a must. And to understand each of my clients individual taste is a must!
I am very blessed that over the past eight years, my job has introduced me to some of the best growers in the country. Most of which I have walked their flower fields myself and seen first hand their operation. I am proud to source 100% American grown flowers for each of the weddings and events and I am proud of the final designs we give to each of our clients!

This has been one of the busiest June’s that I can remember. It’s full on, full speed and filled with the most beautiful blooms and foliages!
Weddings are back and the farms are producing at full speed. We are so happy to see our clients smiling faces again and to be designing gorgeous arrangements for their special day. Shrieks of joy, texts messages with positive reviews and letters of thanks NEVER get old and are why we do what we do- and because we love flowers!

Let’s be honest, the real reason why I bought this old farm sink was to take pictures with my floral arrangements, right?!🤷🏻‍♀️
This week has been full on and I’m so excited that it’s Friday and the festivities for our beautiful couple, L&B, start today! We will be creating a lush and summery garden-inspired rehearsal dinner right on the water tonight in Warren, RI. Then tomorrow we are headed to to bring our bride’s vision to life. Think bright, colorful and fun!

In 24 hours we will be gathering at one of the most beautiful, local, micro flower farms here in R.I.- . I will be co-teaching our annual Farmer Florist class “Perfect Peonies”. This is the 6th year David, Anne and I are collaborating and I couldn’t be more proud of this class that we have built together. It is equal parts beautiful, informative and creative.
Cannot wait to meet all of our wonderful attendees and be surrounded by all of the breathtaking peonies!
