Trapnall Hall, built in 1843 in Little Rock, was preserved in 1929 and and serves as Arkansas' receiving hall for the Governor and is available for events, weddings, memorial services, private dinners, and photos. Unknown architects designed this rare brick house of its era. After changing hands post-Trapnall era, Julia Taylor saved it from demolition in 1929, donating it to the Junior League of L

ittle Rock in memory of her husband. A significant restoration in 1963 by Cromwell Architecture Firm led to its long tenure as the Junior League's headquarters. In 1976, the League contributed half its value to the state, and it now serves as Arkansas' official reception venue for the governor. Open for public event rentals, Trapnall Hall offers a charming setting for various gatherings, boasting both indoor and outdoor facilities, on-site parking, and proximity to downtown Little Rock's amenities.
