Midnight you were a one of a kind. You taught me to look deeper for the problem right up until the end. Your high pitched response when I called your name and your fun jumping style will be so missed. You made us laugh, loved your bread, and seemed to find your groove with dressage and drill team. Thank you for your always try attitude even when it just wasn’t your thing.

Happy Mothers Day! I’ve arrived!
What a fun day at Houghton’s opening show of the season! These horses and riders gave their all and had a great day! It was cold and windy and one horse tried to stay at the show but I couldn’t be prouder of every student who was at the show!
Today is the Houghton University 1 day giving challenge and we would love your help in raising funds for some upgrades at the Equestrian Center!
We are hoping to raise $55,000 to upgrade our outdoor dressage and jumping arena base and footing. This important project involves taking the arena down to its base, fixing drainage issues, and leveling the footing to ensure the arena is back in great shape and can support top-quality riding and competition moving forward. Our goal is to have the funding in place by Friday, April 19, so the work can be completed ahead of our summer season of shows and camps (work is tentatively scheduled for the week of May 13th).
A huge thank you to an anonymous donor for kicking off this fundraiser with a generous $30,000 donation! What a blessing it would be if all our HU Equestrian friends come along side and help us raise the remaining $25,000!

This past weekend these three competed at regionals in Morrisville! Love,love,love these horses! The competition was fierce as always! So proud all three of you! Madeleine and Sierra competed in their first year of IEA and for Mia this was her third regional competition!
Hunt Seat regional banquet was so much fun! Love to spend time with all the families just eating, dancing, and talking!

His deep baritone warm blood type whinny will be missed. RW was one of the boys here from the beginning of my program. The last several years he got to live out his retirement being a happy friend to his night herd. He had a huge heart and a big try. Swimming was one of his favorite past times and he was the best friend any teenage girl could ever ask for. Another crack in our hearts but a fondness that will never be forgotten.
The post Christmas hangover got dusted off today as these girls rode to a successful finish to their regular season. Thank you to RGB for hosting such a wonderful show and as always the AWESOME horses who carry these kids ride after ride. Zones qualifiers of test and equitation rides for Tèa, Brenna, Sierra and Abby K. Representing the team, who also qualified, are Tèa, Brenna, Sierra, Abigail P., and Abby K. I asked you to rise to every challenge and I am so proud of you! This coach can’t wait for each of you to peak because I know you’ve got more to give.
This past weekend our hunt seat IEA team placed reserve champion! The horses were wonderful and everything clicked for a lot of these riders as they are finishing out their season! Congratulations to Mia Fanara, grand champion, and Sierra Wiesmore, reserve champion high school individuals! Thank you all for making this a fun day which I truely enjoyed coaching!
This first photo says it all…loved by many and you’ll be missed. Just this week you were teaching two new riders their first canter steps. I retired you so many times but just kept coming back to that old faithful man you were. Buddy we love you and a little piece of all my riders is with you forever! Thank you for all the great rides.
This team; these horses…wow what a fun day at an IEA hunt seat show! Thank you to the host, Hunters Ridge and horse providers. Lessons were learned but these kids are becoming lifelong friends and that’s something special! Love that we had the opportunity to make memories! Special shout out to Remi Church who had her first question off tie breaker and earned reserve champion. Thank you to each of my team members who stepped up to help get team members in the ring!

This year we have decided to split our annual Christmas Fun show into two. On December 2nd we will be having our first ever Western Christmas Fun show that will include pleasure, equitation, trails, and lots of western games. The following Saturday on December 9th, our Hunter/Jumper Christmas Fun show will take place. It will include hunter/equitation classes on the flat and over fences, as well as a variety of timed jumper courses. Each show has a $30 entry fee per horse and rider pair that allowed competitors to compete in as many classes as they want throughout the day.* Come dressed in fun Christmas attire and enjoy some friendly competition. Pre-registration is not required so come day of and sign up upon arrival.

Another great IEA dressage weekend! Thanks Noth Country for hosting! The horses were wonderful and took riders around safely ❤️! The team took grand, Tèa was open champion, and overall improved our riding! Congratulation to each of you thanks for stepping up to the challenge :)
Dressage IEA team got to go to Erieville this weekend and placed reserve in both shows. Thank you to Spruce, Reinwood, and all the awesome horses! We loved every second! From a coaches perspective I was impressed with the riders interactions with the other teams after just two rider meetings! Love that you all are making lasting relationships with others in our region! I almost forgot Tèa was tied for high point high school rider in both shows; went to a question off where she successfully answered correctly both time to earn the high point award.

Our IEA dressage show at the farm was a success even with the weather trying to spoil it! A lot of work but very worth it! Thanks to all the kids and families who put in work, brought horses, and drove to our show!

Need a laugh?! So this happened today. The big horses unlocked the mini from his stall and he was out in the paddock area with the group. Of course when we tried to catch the little bugger he took off for the open field. Much to his dismay the snow was deeper then he thought. Please enjoy our bunny horse!
