Bobbi's dog Duke crossed the rainbow bridge to join Robert in eternal rest last night. My heart is breaking . Duke was about 13 years old. He came out here to stay with me in 2020 after Bobbi lost their home while in the hospital recovering from a car accident. According to Bobbi, Duke had never barked or done normal dog things. He was quiet and content to keep Bobbi company and eat hotdogs and treats that Bobbi provided. When he came out here he was able to learn to bark and be a dog, running and playing with my girl dogs. After Bobbi recovered and was able to join us out here in the woods, he was shocked that Duke was barking and running with the girls and being a dog. Bobbi would walk out in the field with Duke and taught him to bark at the b***o (I wasn't too happy about that). Duke loved following the girls out to the field to roll around in the grass and enjoy the sun. He's buried in the field now to watch over us and enjoy the sun.
