The reality of running an event space isn’t glamorous at all. While decorating is just 10% of the job, the rest is cleaning, repairing, and coordinating to ease clients’ stress. Yet, this career path change has granted us freedom to enjoy the slowness of time and to be more fully present with people and things that matters most.
Yes it is stressful and a constant grind to make sure we’re fully booked, relevant, and profitable.
Setting boundaries and rest are key for sustainability and it’s definitely a practice we have yet to perfect.
Despite the challenges, there’s much joy in designing spaces that gets to be the backdrop of people’s memories ✨ We’re very lucky since majority of our clients are kind and caring, folks who recognizes the love and time we’ve poured in our spaces to give them only the best.
It’s been four years this month since we opened our first doors, and because of all the support, encouragement, and rave you’ve all generously given us, we get to keep building more doors for you to step into.
