Central Park will be closed today to prepare for our Live in Livingston Concert this evening. Gates open at 5pm. Y'all come out tonight and enjoy a great FREE concert with McBride & the Ride.

As we gear up for another awesome season at Central Park here is a quick reminder of our splash pad and playground rules. These are located on the fence inside and outside the park.

We are doing some spring maintenance at Central Park today. Bathrooms will be closed for painting and they will be repainting the splash pad as well. Keep that in mind when you bring the kids to play.

One of our FAVORITE Christmas Events of the year, Ice Skating in the Park, starts today!! And surprise! The City added a snow maze ❄️ Lots of fun awaits everyone at Central Park Livingston today, Saturday and Sunday from 1pm-9pm! Come see us at the Park!!

THIS IS A FREE EVENT FOR ALL TO ENJOY. SKATES ARE ON SITE TO USE.

❄️note: the park will only be open during event hours over the course of the next 3 days.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Due to the weather forecast the parade has been changed to 12 NOON on Saturday December 9th. According to the NWS this should allow us to miss the worst part of the weather coming through.

For those in the parade, line up will start at 9am but you must be in line by 11 am.

Parade route: Starts at the end of Bradford Hicks Drive, Comes up East Main Street, across the Square, down West Broad passed Dairy Queen, then turns right at Bilbrey Street, passes the Nursing Home and then dismantles.

Look forward to seeing everyone at the parade! It's going to be a great one!!

37 Days till FALLOWEEN!!!!!!!!!

We have SOOO much in store for you this year!

Attendance and all activities are FREE, for all ages. On Saturday kids will enjoy trick or treating with booths from local businesses, churches, and organizations across the square and in Central Park. Games, wagon rides, music, costume contest, petting zoo and pony rides, face painting and much more. Food vendors and restaurants downtown will be available for food and drink purchases while enjoying the festivities.

Saturday night join us at Central Park for Fall-O-Ween After Dark from 5pm – 9pm with live music, ghost stories, and historic ghost walks on the downtown square.

Our Historic Ghost Walks have been expanded to October 14th, 21st and 28th. I will post an Eventbrite link for ticket purchases asap.

We are excited to announce something new to Falloween: The Historical Society will be hosting "Night at the Museum". Join them at the Overton County Heritage Museum as the museum comes alive with people from Overton County's past. More info coming soon.

Booth reservations can be handled through the online form found at this link: discoverlivingstontn.com/falloween if you prefer a paper form print out the one below or grab one at the chamber.

Sorry for the inconvenience but we are improving the Splash Pad and it’s getting a facelift with a fresh coat of paint.

It will be turned off from Monday August 21st - Thursday August 24th.

Live in Livingston's Summerfest 2023 is this Saturday from 4-8 pm. Check out Janelle Arthur's video for Running from My Roots at the link below. You may have seen Janelle on the 12th season of American Idol. She finished in 5th place, not too shabby! She also starred in the feature film, Running from My Roots in which not only was she the star, she also co-wrote and performed the title track. Bluesman Stacy Mitchhart will be headlining with Legacy and Janelle Arthur opening up the show. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.
