In our business we get a lot of college kids working for us, so when they come home on break it puts us back at full staff. That being said, the last few weeks have been great!! Shout out to Skylar, Anne, and the rock star (literally) trio of Claire, Morgan, and Sidney! Their love of music from, dare I say, "my generation" really made the busy days much easier!

Up and out early this morning, as we head to Erie, PA for GAME DAY!! Looking forward to watching this team battle in their first PSAC West matchup of the season! Lots of snow in the works, so bringing the Ram 1500 4WD will keep us safe! We're super excited to see Jenna after the game for dinner and hanging out, then tomorrow for church followed by breakfast!

Fortunate enough to go to the Pistons game Wednesday, attend Jamie's Bishop Foley game last night, going to the Pistons again tonight, and then off to Jenna's game at Gannon tmrw!! Erie is expecting 20 inches is snow the next couple days again!! Yeahhh, we still love basketball!!

We had a client request a special dessert for next Wednesday: pineapple upside down cake!! Of course we are always willing to source great products, and we're happy to support a local small business. Rise and shine, time to make the...... Well, we're not actually cooking today. It's more like thinking about the future and what it may hold.

We're thinking about bring back the Curbside carryout for a limited run to help us get through the slow times. It will also allow for me to feed my creative side, which has been in hibernation for quite a long time!! Please stay tuned for more info on this important project!

Down the road we're looking forward to donating some sweets to Botsford Elementary in Livonia. Their 5th grade class is fundraising for their field trip by having a Luau Dance. We're always looking for opportunities to give back to the community, and it's more important to us than ever!

Soon after that will be the St. Patties day events, then festival time in June with the Motor City Irish Festival at Greenmead historical park, and the Livonia Spree later in June!

Always something to do, something to look forward to, and something to make plans for. Please join us whenever possible. Your support in the New year is always appreciated!

Today we were able to help our friends at St. Margaret of Scotland and their MCREST assistance program by donating meals to help feed 30 people in need tomorrow. Breaded pork chops, baked chicken, vegetable medley and pasta with marinara sauce. This small gesture will help them get their New year off to a positive start.

I spent many snowy winters doing this growing up in Grand Rapids, where we got lake effect snow for what seemed like every day! We had the perfect spot at a local convenience store and we'd grab those bumpers as they pulled out from the store! Great memories and nobody ever got hurt!

Denise returned about 2 years ago and has been a vital part of our success, especially in coordinating daytime events and helping get the food delivered on time! If you are a Pistons fan and watched the game tonight, congrats!! you witnessed one of their most exciting games in a long time!! Down by 18 in the 4th, and got foulded on a 3 pointer with 3 seconds left for a 4 point play!! Amazing finish!!
