My girl got to see the floor again today for 10 minutes in a huge win. She did a great job taking advantage of her time today with 2 pts, 1 rebound, and 1 assist. Maureen and I were so excited to be there for her first career points!!

When you LOVE what you do for a living, it's not work. It's more like a hobby,; something that you love spending time doing. For many years working for Chuck Muer restaurants, then later Landry's who purchased the restaurant group, being a chef was WORK! Long hours, days, nights, weekends, and holidays, combined with shortened vacations at times due to staffing issues. You were still held accountable for what was going on even after taking your much needed and well deserved vacation time. That all changed for the better in 2001 when we started the business. Fast forward to now, when we're closing in on finishing one of our busiest years in the last 10 years! We hope that our staff views this as a hobby at times... of course they get paid as well! We strive to make it an enjoyable experience, unlike my time with Landry's being micromanaged. Finishing up this busy year, we are even more thankful than normal for our guests, without whom we wouldn't survive.

We've attached several pics from over the years to highlight some of our favorite creations! Here's to looking forward to what new catering adventures await us in the future!!

It's been 12.934 days and counting since I spoke these words:

"to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death us do part, according to God's holy law, and this is my solemn vow.""

These words mean more to me now than the day I spoke them. Without the consistent love and support of my wife and family, I don't know where I'd be in my life. God has blessed me abundantly.

Headed to Columbus today to watch Gannon University Women's Basketball take on Ohio Dominican. These girls are sporting a perfect 9-0 record so far this season. Looking forward to seeing Jenna for the 2nd time this week as she comes home with us for Thanksgiving after the game!!
