Our Story

Candice & Dave is made up of David and Candice Lamarand (Husband & Wife) and Charlene Gurney. We have a beautiful daughter, Charley, a super awesome boy, Ronin and a crazy dog named Thor. Dave Lamarand Photography was run by Dave for 5+ years. Candice would always second shoot weddings with Dave and after a year of being booked with her own portrait sessions and weddings it was only appropriate to have a new business name. Photography is something we have always loved and grew up around. We are all easy to get along with and love that our clients end up being our friends. We are very grateful that we do what we love to do and love giving people their memories in a tangible form. From Dave: In addition to weddings, events, and portraits I do commercial work. I love shooting in natural light but have lots of experience in studio and creative lighting. Photojournalism is what initially attracted me to photography and is my strong suit. Stealing moments in time. I believe everyone you meet in life has something to offer you. I have traveled around the country and somewhat beyond, I hope to eventually travel around the world and take it all in… preferably on a raw digital file that I can print to have forever. From Candice: I shoot weddings and portraits. I specialize in natural light photography. As a woman and a mother I love photographing children and expectant mothers. I love capturing the love between people and admire when people are themselves. I hope to continue traveling and documenting people from all around the world.
