King's Table Goals! Beautiful setup at the always lovely @montebello.estate !

Slowed things down today while designing funeral flowers for a dear friend's grandma. I've known her and her family for almost 20 years, and while her grandma lived a long full life, it's a hard loss for her loved ones, regardless. With tears in my eyes the whole time, I designed these flowers as a tribute to her beautiful grandma and the wonderful family I have been so fortunate to know. (And also remembering that, no matter how hard I tried, I never could handle her famous spicy bean soup!) Funeral work isn't something we do often, but it is a great honor to help memorialize those that pass and to hopefully provide a reminder that there can be beauty and light among grief. I hope Grandma Martinez is resting easy now, knowing she left behind a beautiful legacy in granddaughter (@jesshtw ) and her family. Let's all take a moment this week to remember that even a long life seems too short. Find what brings you joy and cherish each and every second.
