We closing up for the summer but plan to be back in the fall so keep following us for updates.

Thank you all for every beautiful moment of fellowship at our little kettle corn stand this year. We were blessed over and over again this summer with all the testimonies of the goodness of God. He is our light and salvation through all things. I pray that every seed planted will take root in our hearts and grow to feed all those around you.



How does popcorn relate to Jesus anyway???? Let me tell you how we see it!

We pour the corn kernel, seed,into the kettle (represents the Word of God, a seed going forth),

Then it’s stired (represents prayer)

The oil begins to heat up (represents the work of Holy Spirit in our hearts).

The next thing you know the corn kernels (seeds) break open, multiply in size and feeds all those around it.

Thank you to everyone that came by last night. Our hearts are so full from hearing your stories of how timely the Bible verses were that you received. Many of you said you went home and put your Bible verse on the refrigerator. ❤️ The kids thanked us for the Jesus necklaces we handed out and there were so many that told us they appreciate our efforts. It was such confirmation that the Lord sees and He truly is present in our popcorn adventures. Never underestimate the power of a kind encouraging word (I'm still smiling from all the ones we received last night).

I've been holding on to this SURPRISE for so long and now I finally get to "let the corn out of the bag"!! 😜 It's the "new thing" I spoke about weeks ago. Here it is!!

Old Tyme Kettle Corn will be GIVING away a book AND bookmark each Saturday!!

I have 4 books to give before I feature a new title. The book is, The Shepherd Trilogy by Philip Keller. It is SO good and holds a special place in my heart.

We have prayed in advance for the person that will receive it and have attached a sticker inside in hopes that when that person finishes it he or she will pass it to another.

When you come to get your popcorn we'll give you a ticket, you'll keep half and the other half goes into a jar. At 10:30 we'll draw the winning ticket and announce the number on our page (right here 😊) and you can come pick up your book.

Our hours are 5:00 to 10:30. 😁

UPDATE: WE WILL BE CLOSED THIS SATURDAY, JUNE 1ST, AND THIS IS WHY.❤️

We will not be open for kettle corn this Saturday and we apologize for any inconvenience. We would greatly apreciate your prayers. Prayer doesn't just change "things", I believe it changes "everything "! 🙏🙌 For those of you that don't know, our oldest son has Hemophilia A, which is a blood disorder. For most of the population our blood contains factor 8 and this factor is what works to clot and stop bleeding when it occurs. People with Hemophilia are missing factor 8, so if they get a bleed it won't stop on it's own. To stop the bleeding they need to have infusions of a factor 8 medication. Boy, are we thankful for those infusions!!! SO THANKFUL the Lord supplied this knowledge and that there are scientist and medical teams that care!! Tuesday our son had a bleed in his knee. We have been in Charlotte, NC recieving the care he needs. We had hoped the healing would come quickly and we would be back by Saturday but it is in the Lord's timing and not usually as fast as this mama wants. Isn't the waiting always so hard? But thankfully, it is a calm waiting because we do see the healing taking place (🙌), it's just taking a little longer. The Lord is ALWAYS walking ahead of His children preparing the way and showing us the next step. I usually want to know the next thousands of steps before I get there, lol, but a dear friend of mine reminds me that I can only be where my feet are and trust Him for the next step. One step at a time. Maybe you needed to hear that today too, and that this post isn't just a coincidence. (I don't believe in coincidences) Oddly enough, June 4-5 is Hemophilia Awareness Day. 😁

It's our prayer that each of you have a wonderful and safe weekend and we plan to see you next Saturday. 😊

Wow, y'all, Saturday nights are becoming one of my favorites! The Lord blessed our efforts again, we were amazed and thrilled to hear so many testimonies about the goodness of God!

We met a couple from The Refuge Church ( a church in Kannapolis). They told us the story of how their pastor road his bicycle from California all the way to Charleston, S.C. to raise money for their ministry that encourages life over abortion (LIFE RIDE). Their church has a group that actively walks alongside moms and dads who have chosen life for their children. How awesome is that?! So, if you know someone that needs this encouragement and support PLEASE share and help them get connected. God has a plan for every life! Then we met a lady who had died several times within a 45 minute span as emergency workers continued to attempt to resuscitate her. She spoke of how the Lord walked her through it all and put her back together. She is a walking miracle! And one of my favorite testimonies came from a man who had just recently given his life to Christ. Oh, it blessed my heart to hear the excitement in his voice as he explain how Jesus came and shed His blood for him! Sometimes we forget how absolutely astonishing it is that God, who created the entire universe and all that is in it,....in ALL the vastness of that, He loves tiny little us. He not only loves us but willingly set aside His power as God to come in human form and take our place on the cross. (If you haven't heard the story of Jewish marriage tradition you should look it up.It was a foreshadowing of all that Jesus did for us, to make us His own.) Of course, I cried every time I listened to someone share (😊). I am so humbled and in awe that the Lord allows us to connect and hear so many beautiful stories of His goodness.

IT HAS NEVER BEEN ABOUT THE POPCORN, BUT HAS ALWAYS BEEN ABOUT THE LOVE OF OUR SAVIOR. ❤️

Stay tuned in, Old Tyme Kettle Corn is about to add a new thing!! We can't wait to tell you about it!! We're working out the details as we speak. 😉

The God of hope....❤️. This has been a memory verse at our house this week and I have found it to be like a cool, refreshing glass of water. Our God has always spoken hope into the hopeless. I love to pray the Word (His words hold power) and this verse pretty much prayers it's self if we'll just give our voice to it.

May the God of hope fill (insert name; anyone on your mind) with all joy and peace as he/she trusts in Him, so that he/she may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." Amen! Thank you Lord for refreshing us with Your hope!!

Last night was awesome at our little popcorn stand! We met a couple that have their own ministry for people struggling with drugs and alcohol abuse. We had the best time giving testimony to how the Lord had changed our own lives. Then someone else came up and heard us talking about Jesus and before we knew it we had a little group there all talking about the goodness of God. 🙌 This happened over and over throughout the night. That's exactly what our hopes are for our popcorn concession. We want it to be a little beacon of light to share His love and encourage one another wherever He sends us. We can all use some of that! Have you ever noticed that two complete strangers can instantly feel like family once you
