Discovery Drop In:
Monarchs and Their Allies
Oenslager Nature Center
1 to 3 p.m.
Discoveries don’t happen on a set schedule, so drop by any time between 1 and 3 p.m. This series promotes unstructured exploratory activities that are perfect for any age to stay for as short or as long as the interest holds. You can participate in the process of tagging the butterflies as part of Monarch Watch’s research efforts to collect data on the migration of monarch butterflies . . . if you can catch one! Staff will provide instructions, nets, and information on the monarchs’ magnificent migrations to Mexico, as well as general butterfly facts. All ages are welcome. No registration is required. Free.
