Tonight I climbed 2000+ stairs, the equivalent of climbing one world trade tower, with the Logan Fire Department, most of the City Council, and many members of the community. Climbing those 2000 stairs in 50lbs of smothering firefighting gear, on an oxygen tank was a humbling experience. Listening to my oxygen alarm sound as I slowly ran out of air, sucked my tank dry and still had ~7 flights of stairs left to climb is an experience I won’t soon forget. I was honored to wear the name of of James Riches who died on Sept 11th.
I’m grateful for America, and the amazing men and women who have given all for us to go home to our families at the end of the night.
Thank you to the Logan City Fire Department, and especially John Cox, for the experience tonight, and for what you do every day for our community.

Hey there! Thanks for dropping in and checking out my site. I'm a photographer and film producer based in Logan, Utah. I've been shooting professionally for 5 years and absolutely love it. I mostly shooting commercial photo and video, focusing on the outdoor industry. I of course shoot weddings, families and portraits of all sorts, mostly because I love the amazing people I get to meet. I love getting the chance to travel for work, and am always looking for a few new job on the road somewhere.
When I'm shooting for you, my main focus is conveying emotion and creating clean, well lit images. My shoots are typically fast past and pretty energetic, but always fun! Whether I'm shooting in a mechanic shop, the mountains or a wedding venue, I'm usually running around and laughing a bit too much. I can promise you that anytime we shoot it'll be relaxed, fun and all about creating the images you need and want.
Besides photography I have a beautiful wife, Jessie, who is a full time accountant. We have a habit of collecting stray and abandon animals (4 and counting). We love to road trip and camp and hike. We're always looking for another new adventure and something fun to see. We both love to hike, snowshoe, backpack and spend any extra time in the mountains. I graduated from Weber State University in 2009, grew up in Ogden area and moved to Cache Valley in 2011. I love wind (except during photo shoots) and sunshine, gorgeous views and empty mountainsides. I served my LDS Mission in Perth Australia.
If you have any questions or want to schedule a shoot, hit me up! I answer emails and texts way better than phone calls (I'm sorry, I'm terrible at phone calls and miss them all the time).
